I purchased this after my LOs last pediatric well check. It was a disaster! I should have expected he'd be resistant to everything, having grown so much since his last appointment. This set includes everything the dr used at a typical visit. I play this with my 2.5yo son, using his stuffed animals as patients (much like Doc Mcstuffins) so he gets used to the process. He likes to check ears, eyes, and throat, but his favorite is administering the 'shot'. I think he'll be much more comfortable at his next appointment, because he'll be more familiar with everything the doctor is doing. We'll probably bring this with us, so he can use his toys at the same time. I'm not enamored with the pill bottle, since he's much too young to ever take medicine in pill form, and I don't want him to think he can play with it if he ever stumbled across a real bottle. So I removed the fake pill bottle. I still think it's a good value without that, and really like that the kit is wooden instead of cheap plastic. It feels sturdy and good quality, and so far no chips in the paint. As others have stated, the case is not wood, but thick cardboard. I actually prefer that so it's light enough for him to carry. He has a tool set in a wooden box, and has a hard time dragging it around. So far the cardboard is holding up to toddler wear and tear so I have no complaints with it. Overall I'm very pleased with how attractive and sturdy this doctor kit is.

This kit is fantastic! My 3 year old has been begging for a "doctor stubbins kit" for weeks after seeing me use a stethoscope,but we've had plastic toys that have fallen apart and broken and I wanted something a little sturdier. Her excitement when she opened this was impalpable! She recognized all of the pieces and has performed thorough check ups on everyone in the house, then takes it with us to visit family and checks them out as well! The case is sturdy, though I was hoping for metal rather than reinforced paper/cardboard. Even so it has been holding up well. The only problem we had was the shot came apart, but I used a little hot glue to put it back in place and it works just fine. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants a natural alternative to plastic toys!

I am so tired of plastic. Plastic bottles and figurines and hair clips and breakable garbage. This doctor set was perfect. Sturdy, wooden, adorable, no chipping, no cracking. Months later, the reinforced cardboard case is still in one piece too. The pieces aren't interactive, which is wonderful - no noise, no caps to get lost, no batteries, and my 2 and 3 can use their actual imaginations playing doctor. They love it and use it all the time.

This kit is just adorable! Stethoscope stays in your ears and the wooden pieces are PERFECT! The only down side is the case is made of thick cardboard type material. It would have been a 5star if the case was a bit better. Otherwise I love this set and I see it being passed down to my grand babies as my kids get older and have Littles of their own. A pair of wooden tweezers would be a great addition to this set :) Update: Jan 3rd, 2019 My kiddos stttiiiillll play with this, almost daily!!!! Ages 5,2,and our baby! We ditched the case long ago, keep it in a wooden basket! Stilllll think it needs some wooden tweezers, but we added some in of our own! We also add in real bandaids and the kiddos are in LOVE! We recently added a little doctor coat to the kit and they are even more hooked! This is one of their Favorite toys! Along with silks, their handmade blocks, and of course ARTTTTT! Btw I am changing it to a 5 star review, simply because it is made well, and the kiddos adore it so much! But like I said, it needs tweezers, a better case or zippered clutch, and also the stethoscope fell out shortly after we bought it and had a sharp wire sticking out. Nothing a little hot glue didn't fix!!! Great ever since!!

I got two of these for my preschool class, who were very into medical play, and they absolutely loved them. Decent quality...all wood. I prefer to use more natural items (avoid more plastic junk), so this was the perfect purchase. The items have lasted through A LOT of use and are pretty much totally intact (one cap of the wooden tube came unglued eventually, but it was easy to fix and the cardboard cases are a bit worn). Totally recommend this!

We love this. We don’t use the tongue depressor though..that’s gross and just adds to things I need to clean. The thermometer we stick under the pit of the arm {just an idea for those of you who also try to reduce amount of things needed to clean} The wooden doctor script is one of my daughters’ favourite parts of this too! Half the time of play is spent referencing her ‘notes’ and asking her patients their ailments It’s really cute and a nicely crafted set. Big Xmas winner💗

I bought this for my oldest son for Christmas 17'. When I went searching for a doctor kit, all I came across were plastic ones , or ones that looked of low quality. I kept searching and finally found this set! I am so so so happy I found this! It is still in the same condition as when we first opened it, and I have two messy kids under 4 years old. If you are searching for a doctor kit for your child, I highly recommend spending your money wisely and choosing this one!

I bought this for my 3-year-old grandson and he loves the tool belt, wants to wear it for hours at a time while he "fixes" everything in the house. He shows us his wooden tools: hammer, wrench, leveler, screwdriver, etc., with great pride, as he goes about tightening knobs (lol), sawing tables, etc.. I'm so glad I bought this for him, as the wooden tools are safe, yet sturdy, and the belt is light enough for him to wear it as much as he wants. This purchase was a winner!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great toy to have. Everything’s wood so not easily broken it’s durable enough for a baby and toddler the case is hard cardboard material that can with stand so throwing around. The price is fair for what you get. We really like the quality of the items and enjoy playing with them. Helps to make babies comfortable before doctor visits if they know what things are used for and gets them used to not being fearful of the equipment.

My grandson loves it. He's constantly 'fixing' something around the house.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and it has been played with daily ever since. The wooden instruments are durable and the weight is perfect for little hands. Both of my kids (3 and almost 1) love this set and use it to play doctor or vet together. It’s also been a great tool to help prepare my toddler for vaccinations or doctor visits. Highly recommend.
