Bolted on as if they were OEM for my nephews Ram 1500.
These bolted on using the OEM holes and once mounted were very secure. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again if needed for another Ram 1500.

Works for installing westin running boards
Worked with the Westin running boards for my dad's 2016 Ram 1500. Wished they could redesign the one mounting bolt. There is a bolt mounted to a strip of metal and on the other end of the metal strip the is a nut. So to get the bolt to mount up you have to get another bolt to thread through the rocker panel hole and then catch and start to thread into the nut that is attached to the metal strip you have to repeat this 5 times It took me about 3 hours to mount the running boards.

This kit will not fit a 2019 RAM Laramie Crew Cab
This product is probably excellent. The right kit for a 2019 RAM Laramie Crew Cab is "Westin 27-2245" which I had to order from Westin Automotive because AMAZON does not carry it yet.

Not quite 5 Stars. But very close!
This mount kit came in solid packaging and all parts are most definitely heavy duty. So why not 5 stars? I had to go buy one washer since one of the washers that came with the kit was damaged right out of the box. I still recommend it and it's required to install my running boards. Also, I didn't have to drill a single hole and everything lined up perfectly.
