I am installing these heating mats on our entire bottom cabin floor. So far the bathroom has been completed and we are VERY happy with the results and enjoying the warm floor. I am doing this work as a DIY project and am pleased with ease of using this product. Definitely worth the price. Best of all, Prolux Materials, LLC has been wonderful to work with. Right after we purchased the flooring, it went on sale and they gave us the difference in price within 48 hours so we didn't feel we had to send it back and order to get the deal. It is a WIN - WIN! I recently installed the LuxHeat 15 Sqft Mat Kit in my bathroom, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Here's why this product is a game-changer for anyone looking to add a bit of luxury to their living space: The warmth from the floor is evenly distributed, providing a cozy feel that you can feel as soon as you step out of the shower. It heats up quickly, and I've noticed a significant decrease in the chill factor, especially during colder months. It's too early to comment on long-term durability, but the quality of the materials feels robust, and there have been no signs of wear or malfunction since installation. Customer Support was great. I did call them to make sure I was getting all the right parts (heating element, cables, controller) and they helped in no time, and an actual person answered the phone (Bonus)! The controller was super easy to set up and it has wifi! I had it installed by my tile contractor. Pro tip, if installing close to the toilet like I did, we used a composite ring instead of a wax ring. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Five stars without hesitation.

Ever since I started installing these systems a couple years ago I’ve worked with many different brands and types. This one comes out as my new favorite and will be my go to. The mesh mats make for easy installation, even in oddly shaped rooms. The mats have a really good adhesive on them that make them stick down nicely. However I do always use an electric stapler to hold the mats down securely before pouring self leveler. The mesh mat makes that task really simple. As for post installation, the system heats quickly and seemingly efficiently. This obviously varies based on the application though. I recommend making sure the floor below the space you’re heating is insulated in traditional construction applications because that will greatly help with efficiency and overall heating. The thermostat is nice however it could be better. It’s fairly easy to operate but I do wish it had a mobile app that you could operate using your phone. It does have a website however it is less easy to use than the thermostat itself

Disclaimer: I didn’t install this, my contractor did. I only ordered the wrong size and programmed the thermostat. All in all, this is a really great addition to the new bathroom. I was so excited for a heated floor and now we have it. When I suggest it to others they’re kind of in disbelief that it’s only a few hundred dollars and we didn’t have to run hot water pipes under the tile. Other than me ordering too big of a mat and not being able to cut the heating line, it installed easily and setup was a breeze. Unless we did something wrong, I’m slightly disappointed with how slowly the floor took to heat up. Today was the first day I activated the thermostat and set it up. At 9am I hit the override to go to 84 and at 5pm it’s finally up to 82.

Installation is not rocket science. Better than I expected. Used through the winter, and then some. Wonderful to have warm bath floor all the time. Will use the product again...

I can't recommend this product enough. When my installer told me to get enough to cover my whole bathroom (135 sq ft), the installer said to get way less since it doesn't go under the vanities or tub and you can't cut this to length. Return was no hassle and getting the right one was fast and easy. It works perfectly and I like setting the schedule from the app online.

Just had it installed and keeps my toes toasty. The app is easy to use and easy to get the schedule set up. Doesnt work with google home which is a bummer.
