YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS. YOU WONT REGRET IT nor DISAPPOINTED
Origonally My hubby want it to orders McCormick brand Jerk Seasoning . But for some reason my guts tells me NO to the McCormick brand. So I researched and found this brand, it says "Product of Jamaica ". That sounds convinced me big time. So I Ordered double bottle packages instead single I dont know why but I sure did ordered DOUBLE. Yesterday April. 12.2021 I received my shipment along with other products. I opened one bottle to taste the jerk seasoning and OMG, I instantly fall in love with this jerk seasoning. Tonight ,Coincidentally I cooked a fried jumbo shrimp as dinner . And eat them traditionally with tartar sauce/ cocktail sauce . But in my mind says " let's try with jerk seasoning " My hubby looked at me crazy and he saying "What are you doing?" He had a jerk seasoning with fish and chicken before but never try with shrimps. So I mixed lil bit of seasoning into cocktail sauce and BAMM!!!! TO ME, IT'S AMAZING So I sprinkle extra dried seasoning directly to one of fried shrimp and BAM BAM BAM BAM!!!! So my hubby convinced by my reaction and he tried and saying "You right. Surprisingly This jerk seasoning is actually really good. Better than McCormick brand" I've never had a Jamaican food or seasoning before but this is my new favorite seasoning and I will recommend to my friends as well. Thank you,Island Spice Jerk Seasoning. You change my perspective of Jamaican seasoning. Because your seasoning is SO AWESOME I will try more Jamaican seasoning/foods in future.

Great seasoning
Okay, I have to say I don’t know what all of the negative reviews are about, especially the ones that say this is too salty. It is not, and no other seasonings (including salt) are necessary when using this seasoning. I used it last night on chicken wings on the grill. Put oil (olive oil in my case) on the wings first, then seasoned well with this seasoning, “patting” it into the wings before placing on the grill. Delicious! I was immediately transformed to days from the past, lying on the beaches of Montego Bay, enjoying a lunch of jerk chicken! I’ll be buying again.

Quite possibly the best rub for BBQ
There are a ton of commercial BBQ rubs out there. For most of them you really have to layer it on to give it a distinct flavor. At that point it's flavorful but extremely salty. This mix provides just that right balance. You pile it on but you get the right ratio of flavor to salt. If you are of the mind to BBQ, get yourself a weber smokey mountain, some ribs, and look up the 3-2-1 method or 3-3-1 (for spare or st louis cuts). Rub this on the night before and you're golden.

A go to staple
Love this product..for ribs this is my go to rub it's a perfect ratio of spice..salt and sugar..fantastic on chicken or seafood as well. I tossed out my other jerk seasonings and just keep this one in the pantry now. I have read some reviews that note it's not spicy enough..and I agree its mild by standards . That said if you just want heat that's and easy thing to increase with various powders chillis and sauces . To me this is great it's not so spicy that my kiddos and heat sensitive guest cant manage and easy enough to ramp up if desired. My children find this spicy but good. Lol..maybe this is my gateway spice .

VERSATILE AND FULL OF FLAVOR.....YEEEOOOOWWA!
Been using this for awhile after trying quite a few others both wet and dry varieties. I was looking for a low/no salt variety so I can add my own. A little of this goes a LONG WAY in both heat and citrus flavor and aroma. Great dry or wet on chicken, pork (my fave chops, pulled, carnitas) BBQ Sauce or anything you want a sweet spicy citrus secret weapon type mystery flavor that makes peoples wonder what "that" is. A pinch in a ceviche, or eggs brings out the foods flavor nicely. Blackens nicely too - I add a little extra WHITE sugar. There is just something different about this that makes me want to find ways to use it...even in black bean salsa! Dont't be afraid of the heat as you can use smaller amounts because there is so much flavor that still comes out.Only complaint is that some of the spices are too big to fit through the lid holes...take off the lid and use sparingly. If the holes were bigger, too much might come out. Don't pour over what you are cooking - start small and learn how to use it.You'll have a lot of fun with this.

Delicious
This is the best jerk seasoning I've found. The flavor is outstanding not too salty unlike other brands. It's very versatile as you can use it on wings, salmon, and chicken. A time saver instead of buying multiple herbs and spices to make your own. The size of the container is a good value too. It will last you awhile.

Does Not Take me Back to Jamaica
Not the best seasoning - it's okay... but if you have visions of this mentally taking you back to sitting on a beach in Jamaica and eating jerked chicken, this isn't going to do it for you. Again, it's okay as just a seasoning, but I wouldn't call it a "jerk" seasoning.
