Great Shoe
Mad Rock really does make a good shoe at a more affordable price. This model is mostly covered with rubber all around the shoe and it seems like it will hold up quite well. Sizing for the shoe was pretty true for me. It's not extremely aggressive so I only went up a half size from my street shoe. The break in time was very short, one session and they feel very comfortable. Performance of the shoe is pretty great all around due to the Mad Rock rubber, which is super sticky but soft so it will be more prone to wear down a little faster than some of their competitors. All in all I would totally recommend this shoe for anyone that does a little all around climbing.

Like the design. Nice shoe just to small. Need a bigger size

Not super sensitive, but fine to take you out of the beginner stage
These are the most aggressive shoes I've climbed in (mostly indoor bouldering), and so far I really like them. I did go a size half up from the women's conversion (my street shoes are 7.5W, which would usually be a 6M), which I would recommend if you're going for uncomfortable but not painful. The rubber is sticky and makes smearing relatively easy, and I love the design for heel hooks. The hemp lining is also pretty amazing at keeping the stick away. The main downside is that they're not very sensitive.

What I expected.

Great performance, a little tight in the toes
The rubber is quality and they seem durable enough, but the toes are pretty narrow, so anyone with a wider foot may have some discomfort until the shoes are well broken in.

fit is tight
Fit is tight, I would suggest ordering a size or 2 bigger. Needed an 11 had to return because they were too small and 12 is still a bit too small.

Sticky shoe, low sensitivity, runs maybe 1/2 size large
I ordered the original Mungens on Amazon for $63, but they must have messed up or had an inventory problem because they sent me the Mungen Tech 2.0. My street shoe is a size 8, and I ordered the true size based on reviews of the original Mungens. When I first got the Mungen Tech 2.0's, they fit tight and I climbed well in them. They're super sticky and at places where you have to do a lot of smearing (I'm in NC, so Asheboro boulders) they worked like a charm. The sole is pretty thick though, so you can't feel much, and a month later now that they're broken in I have trouble getting them tight enough to do fine edging - my toes aren't curled anymore, and they're a bit wide so my feet turn sometimes when I'm really putting a lot of weight on the sides. I would say use conventional sizing wisdom and get them at least a half size small if you're going to climb any kind of slab or boulder past V3. To get the best value, you might also want to wait til they go <$80 in price.

marked as a size 15US, these shoes aren't anywhere ...
marked as a size 15US, these shoes aren't anywhere near that size.I know rock climbing shoes usually come smaller for a compact fit but these aren't the size 15 as advertised.A size 10 foot would struggle to get into these shoes!!
