Super product and value. Brilliant design and ease of setup. I was concerned about the quality of the stove pipes but they work great and easy to setup and take down. As a man, I did not find the unit too heavy to life and could easily bring from the truck to our camp site. Any distance over 50 yards and I would sit it down and take a break. We added screws to ours while camping and never had concern of wind knocking down. Don't expect air tight fit. This unit is best suited for tents with good venting, outdoors, etc. For permanent install you would want some sealant around pipes. The door could use a good seal as well to further control the venting. We thoroughly enjoyed the heat this put out in our 13 foot bell tent while camping in Hiawatha National Forest.

I bought this stove for hot tent camping 3 years ago. It’s held up great and I recommend it to anyone needing a portable wood stove. It’s kept our 10 x15 tent toasty warm, even in 2 days of high winds & heavy snow. It’s easy to assemble, the parts & stove pipe store inside the stove. Incredibly important to assemble the stove and have a hot fire for an hour or two to burn off the oil coating & cure the paint. Don’t forget to attach the stove pipe, it also has an oil coating on the pipe sections. The curing process stinks to high heaven. The fumes produced from curing will burn eyes and smoke anyone out of their tent, house or cabin.

The legs are indeed adjustable. The holes are irrelevant bring pliers and tighten the screws where you need them to be.... Pretty simple I'd say all these reviews about the legs. Anyways. Full damper mode and front air vents shut and this thing heats my tent with zero issues at all. I have 3 to 5 windows open at any given time although it's only 40 outside right now. Cooking on this is so easy and nice ESPECIALLY with the side racks. The stove pipe starts at 5 inch and works it's way up to over 6 inches...... I recommend getting an adjustable rain cap from home Depot online 5 through 7 inch cap is nice and no messing around. I've had the pipe red hot by total mistake just looked away for a second and bam shut the vents and put a fan on pipe and it was fine. Not often do I not have something to complain about when I buy something no matter what it is but this stove is simple and effective I cannot wait for winter here in Michigan to really test this out. I have a 14x16 tent and it heats up in probably 2 minutes at the very most. This stove is not for small tents the bottom of the stove doesn't heat the floor even a little. I have brick under mine and it's overkill 😂 a nice pad under and in front for if things fall out while you're dinking around is all that's needed. I like the brick so I'll keep using it. I try to load wood in front away from stove pipe so I can keep flame from going in pipe and with the length of this stove that's easy to do and it helps. I can easily throw this up over my shoulder but that's just me. The stove is on the heavy side from what I can tell when I showed it off to others and they tried to pick it up. I'm 5 foot 9 150lb I do have a heavy lifting constant moving job so I am physically fit to carry this and then fire wood in my back in a bag with some water tied to the side if I need to. I recommend getting a metal wagon or nice sled for winter for transporting. It burns wood fast though probably 3-4 hours is the longest burn you'll get the ash is minimal because the heat level and efficiency is so nice it leaves nothing behind. Well that's my review. Update Nov 2 2023 Michigan Lower temps hit the last few days and my 14 x 16 tent has stayed more than warm far more than enough so far even though it hasn't been freezing outside (32°) or lower i have not had the stove full and wide open yet. The roof peak inside the tent for the pipe is over 9 ft high so the pipe heat isn't much of a worry although I have a powerful fan hunger from my center support tent pole the fan is hanging from to blow on the upper tent roof and the stove pipe so it stays cool up on the top. I recommend a wood stove heat powered fan and also a nice power fan to keep heat moving around and to keep the stove pipe cool. With the stove shut down and damped down all the way I accidentally got the stove pipe red hot 2 sections up high and was worried 😂 all was well after I got the heat down and figured things out. Load small amount of wood and to the front of stove the keep flame from shooting up pipe and you can run as hot as you want. The legs need to be tightened with pliers that's why there is only 2 holes after that they will not move ive had zero issues with the legs. User errors is not manufacturing error you turds. The stove is okay. I've noticed welding is not the best around the top cooking top so check that before your first burn and for other holes and imperfections Stove keeps my 10-12 person tent warm in 20° weather. Not too bad. It's a joke though the spark arrester they sent. I've ordered a few different caps and you definitely need to make a sleeve out of the spark arrester they provided along with a raincap that has a spark arrester built in. My tent has been replaced because of coals hitting the roof while damped down so yeah be aware. Don't move the fire around at all and keep a couple screens around the cap

This thing will keep you warm!! I have used about 12 times now in below 0 temps and haven't been cold once. If you have it choked properly it burns long enough that you only need to restock it once in the middle of the night. This will last for a long time, it's nice and beefy. The racks on the side are amazing to have. They are great for drying socks/gloves after a day in the bush and also handy for warming up food. Talk about heat, this stove rips! I have boiled big pots of water accidently. I put water on to warm up and cranked the stove open and next thing you know it was boiling over. Awesome stove. I'd buy it again if I had to but I'm sure I will never need to.

Should come with a 1/4" stove rope to better seal the door for longer burn time. I picked up 1/4" stove rope at the hardware store and installed and absolutely love the stove. Stove comes with a stackable chimney to go straight up out of the roof about 10' up. The chimneypieces are all tapered and slip inside each other so they can all fit inside the stove for storage. As the provided chimney pipe tapers it increases in the diameter of the pipe as it gets higher. All very cool. I wanted to side wall vent the stove and needed two adjustable 45 degree elbows to do so, but as the pipe diameter gets wider, the wider diameter will not fit the 45 degree elbows. So I ended up buying all new 6" duct piping to vent the chimney through the side wall. I also find that the side wall vent option slows the stack effect out the chimney and helps to slow the burn for increased burn times. Luv it though !

The legs are really not adjustable. They are one length that fasten onto the stove with a finger style bolt. The legs will often fall off when maneuvering the stove as the finger tight bolts don't seem to hold the legs tightly enough into place. I was able to get a 3 1/2 hour burn time so far. It would be nice to have a stove gasket around the door to have complete control over the airflow. Aside from the above the stove is well built and I think it will be durable. The chimney will need some self tapping screws on the joints for windy weather.

Awesome Wood Stove! - This little wood stove radiates heat for its size. Had a great first burn and it works amazing. Would be amazing in a 10 x 12 Cabin or 12 x 12 Tent and should be able to keep is occupants toasty warm on the cold nights. Only problems I can see for this would be the spark arrestor and the damper. The spark arrestor if very flimsy. The first time I tried to put it over the stove pipe the mesh broke and had to be replaced and it is not very secure. The damper hand get extremely hot when running the stove so please be careful when opening & closing the damper. Other than these two minor things this stove is a real winner and will be a welcome part of our hunting cabin.
