Christmas gift .. for the Share program.. I am sure a child will enjoy!

One of the cutest little Christmas books I've ever seen, with very attractive vintage-type illustrations! The story is very sweet, too. I would recommend it for children, or anyone of any age!

I wanted to give the newest family member something to have for Christmas's to come!

I am 64 and mom read this to us when we were little, and I read the same copy to my children and grandchild, so I was happy to see it was available to buy new as a gift! Heartwarming story, takes me back to my childhood. Highly recommend!

Read classics widely as a kid. Kids today will not relate to some of the elements in this story.

Lovely reprint of the original 1950 version that I loved as a child. I bought several. Fun to share this with my neighbors' children.

Flooding my brain with happy childhood memories. This book is beautiful. I'm so glad I spent a little more and bought it new. Totally worth it. The illustrations are so beautiful.

Although the pages were nicely illustrated and words were of a good font size, expected the book size to be bigger. Also, the story feels rushed in places and doesn't flow smoothly. Probably had to fit the 24 page limit as all the books in this series are 24 pages.

Great book and great price! The vintage style is a plus!!!
