Buckle is large which makes the belt bulky. The end of the belt started to peel less than a month after I bought it, so i already had to glue it. The material is great. I love how it stays tight and that it is easy to clean. I just wish it were better quality. It's holding up well now that I've glued it though.

Belt not suitable for seniors
This belt is much to stiff for use with a senior. We gave a cotton belt to stabilize and aid my mother in law when she is on her walker. This belt could break ribs.

Caregivers beware; polyurethane not cotton
Read the carefully before buying. The picture and description are very deceptive. This belt is polyurethane. It's very stiff and slick. Even the label on the package says 100% cotton. If you care for someone that needs a gait belt for transfers, assistance, fall mitigation then you know the patient normally wears the belt for long periods. This would be very uncomfortable.
