LG SP7Y Sound Bar 5.1ch, DTS Virtual:X, Meridian Audio Technology, High Resolution Audio (24bit / 96kHz) - 2021

I ordered this after my LG NB3740A 320W sadly blew a speaker after 7 years. As it would take about a week to receive this new sound bar I stopped at a BB and purchased a less expensive (by $50) LG SL4Y. Oh my what poop. The sub woofer would drop out, no matter where I put it. The sound was poor and could not be adjust to be even satisfactory. I tried all of the fixes to no avail. The SN5Y finally arrived and installed without a hitch. Sounds great! Love the different sound effect options. The digital option makes the Marvel movies sound amazing. Very good sound bar for the amount of duckets spent. 😊

The sound is awesome! Surprisingly rich sound and great bass performance from such a small sub, and wireless connection. No extra remote needed. Used fibre optic connection to TV so it turns on and off with the tv, no need fit the included remote.

I wanted this item to be 5 star but for now it's 4 star, I will revise later, It looks great, compact sleek, it replaces a blue ray surround sound system that sounded great but had wires for speakers all over the place and I couldn't get the old one to mate up with the TV ( pretty sure it was me ) so we like the neat look we have with the sound bar and it sounds much better then the TV speakers alone, but the Bass does not blow you out of the water, keep in mind that as some people said you need to go into settings for the TV and adjust the levels to your own tastes but I'm pretty sure you will be adjusting Bass to the highest setting, after doing that I started to notice a improvement in sound quality, it sounds good just not blow away Bass but I think I read that I can also adjust the sound bar settings so I will update after exploring the unit to see what I can get out of it, so to sum up, the unit sounds way better then the TV alone and after using some of the TV settings I got more Bass and I haven't really cranked it yet, very easy to pair up most of it happened without me doing much other then following instructions, one of the reasons I expect to give 5 stars after reviewing for awhile is when I was watching a movie I kept hearing noise from the kitchen area like I had a speaker near the wall but there wasn't one there it's a sound bar right? it seems that the sound was being thrown all around the room and bouncing off the walls back at us so I think this unit is going to work out for us, will update after more use, Good Luck.

Several different modes, bass and treble adjustments. Deep bass. Like being at the theater.

I like the sound fairly well but you will need to play a bit to understand controls. Sound is clear and base response is fair but don't expect booming! For T.V. viewing this unit does well in my 15 foot square den.

I just needed a simple soundbar for a bedroom TV, but the trick was, the "Smart" TV hasn't been supported in years and plenty of apps no longer work, so I needed a soundbar with both HDMI "in" and "out". This fit the bill! Works perfectly, allows me to use the volume control on my TV exclusively (with no sound coming from the TV) and 4k looks great!

This soundbar and subwoofer pops and crackles and subwoofer disconnects and connects several times a night. Contacted LG. To see what they could do or offer and they basically said I’m screwed. It was past the 30 day return so I was stuck with it. Paying $199.00 may not be much to some people but it is to me. So we have been dealing with with it for a couple years moving subwoofer around the room, resetting back to factory settings, upping our internet speed, using Bluetooth, plugging in the optical cord for connection. NOTHING WORKS!! Never ever will I buy an LG soundbar or recommend one. They are pieces of crap and LG doesn’t stand behind the products or offer help after they get there money. Very upset!! Zero rating!!!!!!!

Fit under our LG 55" TV (with legs on tv) perfectly without blocking the screen. Easy to connect and worked perfectly right out of the box. I've had it about four months now and no complaints. Sound quality is great. I don't have the bass on max, I think we use 2 of 5. Avengers movies are so much more enjoyable with this sound bar and sub combo.
