The quality is superb in the material, design and construction of this versatile dress. I got it for lounging and sleeping so that I could be comfortable but not feel frumpy. It is so lovely that I will surely accessorize it and wear it out. There are a lot of thoughtful details that a seamstress will appreciate. Love the pockets, length and fit. Some report baggy sides at the armpits. That is actually a tiny surplus of material that allows for the breasts to be accommodated without the fabric stretching uncomfortably across the front. The fabric is not too heavy and not too thin, has a delicious silky drape and feel. The price is that of cheap junk. I would pay more for this quality. Love this smoky periwinkle color which happens to be the Pantone color of the year. Having just one of these is not enough!

I love this dress for work and for play. I wear a nice blazer with it to work or church and a denim jacket for any casual outings. The shoulder straps are a bit long but I was able to tuck and taper so they wouldnot slip off my shoulders. The pockets are perfect and a bonus for any flattering dress. The fabric is very comfortable and flattering . I wear a 12/14 and this was a perfect fit. I washed it in cold water and hang to dry.

This is a beautiful dress. I bought the "small" in caramel, which is a gorgeous, soft, organic looking hue. It fits me perfectly -- I'm 5'6" and weigh 136 pounds, and usually wear a medium, so I'd say these run a bit small. The fabric is heavy enough to be able to wear this outside the house, and it's very soft and drapey. The waist is not exactly an empire waist; I'd say it's a little higher than my natural waistline, but barely so. My only concern is that the straps are a bit wider apart then any of my bra straps, so for now I'll be wearing this with a cropped cardigan. This is a versatile piece -- it can be a comfy around-the-house dress, or, dressed up to be good enough for going to a decent restaurant. For the price it's an excellent deal.

I really want to love this dress, but it is hard to find a bra that works with it. I find myself constantly pulling it up to cover the top of my bra. Not a super big deal if you bought the black dress, and are wearing a black bra, but I wouldn't buy another color. Straps are too long, or fabric has too much stretch? It is very flattering and comfortable.

This dress is comfortable and stretchy! I have worn it before/during and post pregnancy and it's comfortable and looks cute in all stages. It's a forgiving dress. I do wear a slip or comfy shorts under it as it does tend to cling a bit, but I it's not sheer, so it might not be necessary for everyone. I have this in 2 colors. My first did stain easily (green), but that's probably my lifestyle. I now use the stained one as a comfy nightgown. I ordered a new one in black and hope to try to keep that one stain free. I am 5'4'' 115 - 135 lbs and XS fits great.

I love this dress. Very soft, can size down for a smoother and tighter fit. It was a go to this summer for a quick stylish outfit. I am plus size and normally wear a 2xl. I fit an XL in this and felt sexy! Color was perfect. I can also wear in the Fall with a sweater and continue to enjoy.

I so wanted this dress to work and it so didn't. The fabric is lovely and soft, the blue color is the perfectly muted shade of a stormy sky. It is lovely. until I put it on. For reference, I am tall (5'11") and slightly (and i mean slightly) pear shaped, and it is totally wrong for this body type. The neckline is way too deep and the shoulder straps are spaced too wide and slip off. There is no way to wear a bra under it - it is so low cut that all of them showed. The XL which is my usual size, bagged under the arms and the shoulders fell off - the top was way too loose to wear. And I have pretty broad shoulders - so broad they are usually a problem with women's clothing. This was too wide for even me. So I tried a large - the top fit okay, but the waist was still unflatteringly high - I looked pregnant, and it was unflatteringly tight around the hips, clinging to every lump. Both sizes were returned, and my quest for the perfect easy casual summer dress that covers my knees continues......

I am 5’6”, 145 lbs, dress/pants size 6-8, bra size 34B. My normal size is M, but I ordered S for a more fitted chest and waist.Fit: Technically, it fit just fine. Size S was appropriate for my smaller chest. Has a small band to accentuate the waist, and it hit my natural waist just right. But I’m more of a M on bottom, and I felt like the bottom part of the dress touched me too much.Material: It’s made of that soft, heavy, slinky-slanky jersey material that I’ve come to associate with Daily Ritual. It hangs well and is still breathable. However, it does show the shape of whatever it touches. I would usually wear a pair of athletic-type bike shorts with some structure and a phone pocket, but with this dress, I would probably need a smoother pair of slip shorts.Color: Caramel. I LOVE this color. It makes me feel like a sexy terra cotta pot with a string of pearls succulent for hair. Somehow it’s both bright orange and earthy neutral. I’m returning this dress, but I’ll be looking for another one I can order in this color.Quality: Great! As usual for Daily Ritual. I imagine it would be a good wash and wear staple.Overall, I wish I loved this dress on me. If you typically wear the same general size on top and bottom, this may be a great dress for you!
