It’s lovely, but it is not quite level & so needs constant attention & frequent adjustments. Leave it alone for a couple of minutes, & the blades may catch fire from being still too long. This hasn’t happened because we’ve never left it alone, but it could. Still beautiful & full of happy memories

Very nice, except one of the choir boys was broken off and one of the stars was loose. Little gorilla glue fixed the problem.

Traditional design is a plus, the detail of the figures and central pyramid are decent but mechanical quality control is sorely lacking: the drive shaft should be straight but is warped, so that the candle power is not enough to sustain continuous movement. Since the central elements are glued to it, it can't be removed for straightening. Some of the propeller wings were warped out of true or not glued on straight to their pins. The pins easily slip out of the spindle sockets at the merest touch, so adjusting and maintaining their angles, crucial to driving the shaft, is therefore difficult. The candles supplied with the pyramid are good quality but they burn too fast and are too long so they need to be trimmed about 10 millimeters, otherwise they will scorch the underside of the wings. Brubaker ought to be ashamed to put "his" name on this product, and Amazon for allowing this shoddy piece in its product line up and to abet the seller's "reduced price" scam: really, the list price for this sorry excuse for workmanship listed for nearly $200? It shouldn't go for more than $12.99.

Lovely addition to my German-themed Christmas.

I am disappointed in the quality of my Christmas decoration....I basically had to assemble it & perhaps because of the way in which it was packed, but from the minute I opened the box...I was disappointed. I am not sure if they are all like this, but the 2 sides also do not stay closed around the pin....seems very poorly made. And, it does not spin! Perhaps because we had to assemble the paddles - which keep coming out! I emailed the company, but have not heard back. :( and because they do not spin ...the paddles begin to burn, so I cannot light the candles! ARGH.

I bought a total of 3 of this size, everyone loved them. This is a gift that can be past in to generation to generation!

Arrived in both that had the top ripped off and 2 dents that went through the cardboard on the sides. No Suprise 2 of the little people and one candle holder was broken.
