This is one of the better detox/clarifying shampoos I’ve tried. It does a great job removing buildup from products, dry shampoo, and hard water, but I’ve found it works best as part of a double shampoo. I always use this first, then follow with a regular shampoo, and that combo leaves my scalp feeling really clean without stripping my hair. One tip that makes a big difference: emulsify it between your hands before applying. It lathers much better and spreads more evenly that way. I use it about once a week or every other week, and my hair feels lighter with more volume at the roots afterward. The scent is light and fresh, and it rinses out easily. If you use a lot of styling products or need a true reset shampoo, this one works really well when used the right way.

The scent is amazing. The bottle is easy to grip and use. I only needed to use one squirt of the shampoo and it lathered up my whole head. It left my scalp feeling clean and free of residue.

I have oily scalp and roots and dry ends (very long wavy thick hair) this shampoo works beautifully and I’ve tried a lot of different clarifying shampoos over the years but this one is a game changer! The texture is nice almost like honey, it has a very mild neutral scent, it did suds up a lot which is a plus and it totally changed my hair and oily scalp for the better and rinsed out cleanly. It managed to totally remove oil and build up but at the same time didn’t dry my hair out at all so now my hair is so much softer, shinier and has less frizz too. I only need to use this clarifying shampoo 1x a week but I found that during the other days my usual shampoos and conditioners work so much better now. This is totally worth the price in my opinion.

I was looking for a clarifying shampoo after spending a few months in an area with super hard water. This stuff does work great! Pros - smells nice - really strips your hair and leaves it feeling SUPER clean - lathers well and rinses out easily - not itchy or irritating to you sensitive scalp Cons - it reaaaally strips out my fine hair. Make sure you have a really good hydrating conditioner to follow up with, or your hair might feel super dry. Overall, it works well ant pulling out aall the bad buildup of minerals and products, and I’ll continue to use weekly or as needed with a nice conditioner.

My scalp had become very irritated and oily, and my hair was looking flat and overly fine. Turns out, a new shampoo I had switched to wasn't working with the hard water I have at my house, and I ended up with hard water buildup on my scalp. It was very uncomfortable with my scalp being extremely itchy and inflamed. I learned about OUAI Detox Shampoo as a fix for hard water buildup on the scalp and decided to try it. My scalp felt immediately better after one use. I switched back to my old shampoo at the same time, and within a few days of being back on my old shampoo, and a second use of OUAI a few days later, I was completely back to normal. I now use it once a week to keep the hard water build up from happening again. While a little pricey, the product is only used 1-2 times a week, so one bottle lasts a long time. It smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling incredibly clean and fresh.

This is honestly the BEST clarifying shampoo ever made! We have very hard water and it was ruining my hair, filters and water softeners don’t work and I’ve tried so many different shampoos with zero luck. I was about to give up, then I saw this and decided to try it. I’ve used it three times and it totally and completely fixed my hair!! I cannot recommend this shampoo enough, it’s the best hair product purchase I’ve ever made.

Love this shampOo, get that squeaky clean feeling which some people hate but it isn’t drying at all. Especially paired with a good conditioner my hair feels amazing. I have type 4a/4b hair but I always blowout and straighten my hair. I find if i use this shampoo my hair comes out amazing and super sleek it’s really effective at getting product buildup out. It also smells really good . A little goes a long way, I usually do 2-3 shampoos. The first one to get impurities and the second gets an amazing lather, it seems small but lasts a long time great value.

Skulle vara julklapp men självklart något fel med leveransen. Man kommer inte fram till någon support och jag vill ha pengarna tillbaka. Blivit av med över 500kr! Skamligt! Jag hinner inte köpa andra julklappar nu och har inte råd heller. Har varit tveksam till Amazon innan men dottern önskade sig härifrån, nu vågar jag aldrig lita på Amazon igen.
