Great Condition and Shrink-Wrapped
This book came quickly and was even packaged in shrink-wrap. It is in great condition and I can't wait to use it in all of my interior design courses.

Good Book.
4/5 because it was not what I was expecting. Its full of facts and figures for engineers to calculate movement and size/positioning of people. Thought it would have more contextual information to learn from. It does a great job explaining what it does, but not what I wanted.

Be Aware
Some times we miss the obvious when designing for a person, a family or a community. This book informs us of the physical nature of people.

great reference - cd is pretty worthless
this book is a great reference for those who deal in any way with the human form. i, for example, am a 3d character animator and this book is perfect for nailing correct human proportions and visualizing range of motion. however, the accompanying cd is basically an advertisement for ErgoForms, the autocad version of the drawings in the book. only the 1% man drawing (the smallest average male figure)is included on the cd, which is pretty useless for what i need. if the book weren't so expensive i'd give it a four star rating. i thought i was getting more on the cd to warrant the price.

If you design anything that is used by a human this is the book for you. The book contains anthropometric data from 2 month old babies to adult for male and female and a wide spectrum of situations from the ideal layout of a kitchen, to manual controls on a machine. The CD-ROM that accompanies the book contains samples of CAD figures from a software package that is available to buy. However I didn't find them of much use because they were 2D, and the majority of my design work uses a solid modelling package, and they also one of the more obscure data sets. I could use the data in the book if I needed to generate my own figures. This book is worth the RRP, even more of a bargain if Amazon has reduced the price. I used standard free delivery and the book arrived quickly, it was well wrapped.
