I love this tea kettle. I love the design and that it holds a good amount of water and there isn't any leakage.

Tea pot heats up water very quickly, more so than any other teapot I have had. Directions say not to leave water standing in pot, which I do not like, so thus far I have been emptying teapot when not in use, but I perfer to have water ready in it, so will see how this ultimately works out. Also, directions said to wash out with baking soda. All these orders take away from the ease of a teapot, hence 4 stars. The outside of pot wipes off easily, it whistles nicely letting me know water is hot, which I love, and the handle does not get too hot to handle.

This pot not only whistles when the water is to temp but does not boil out of the spout as so many others will do.

This is a very lightweight kettle, I have purchased others for a little more that have had more heft. It does the job, but it can be better. For one the base is really thin and I have to make sure the flame is not too high. The handle of the kettle gets really warm, doesn't look like it's made of a suitable material. I was able to grip it but others in my household had to grab a towel to pick it up. It also does not whistle so it boiled for a while, before I realized the water was boiling. Also the pour is not good as it leaks a bit from the side. I can just flip open the spout, but it would have been nice to get a thinner pour for my pourover coffee. It's ok if you're trying to find something that will boil water for a really low price but I would recommend paying a bit more and getting a better kettle if you're going to use it regularly.

I bought this Primula Whistling Tea Kettle last July and I am very happy with it. I live alone and it's just the right size for my needs. I like the way it looks, it's sturdy construction. I especially appreciate that there's a lid on top for filling. I am very happy with this purchase.

If I could, I’d give this kettle a 3.5 stars. I needed a tea kettle fast as I had a friend coming over for tea. I ordered this one. It is cute, boiled water, and does the job. But you get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive kettle. But note that it is small and very lightweight. Feels cheap when you pick it up. I don’t drink tea and rarely need a kettle so it’s fine for me. But if you’re a tea drinker or boil water a lot, pay a little extra and get something better.

The handle keeps dropping and hot. Need gloves or anything to cover the handle everytime I grab it
