Very fine thinset mortar, produces a smooth mix, seals great!
I had a parging job to do and I used two parts of this thinset mortar and one part regular "Quickset" mortar, mixed with Dryloc Bonding Agent and it was perfect! It didn't set too fast but it mixed thick and smooth and was easy to work with. Once it set it was hard as rock and without cracks. I've also used this previously on new internal master bathroom floor and wall tiles (mixed with water) with excellent results. One lesson learned: if you are working with it in a humid environment over an extended period of time (high humidity can cause small clumps of material), "screen" the mortar to reduce any clumping to get a truly fine powder when you mix, and mix thoroughly.
