We got the Calgon water softener for the black tank in our camper. I think the recipe is called the Geo Method. Google it. After emptying the black tank put 3 capfuls of Calgon and 3 gallons of water. Let it sit or drive around, then flush out. Seems to be keeping it from smelling, but we only go #1 in ours, and never any toilet paper. Never empty your black tank and let sit completely dry, especially if you go #2 in there. RV tip of the day!

J'utilise ce produit depuis plus de 20 ans car il est vraiment très efficace. Je voudrais profiter de ce commentaire pour remercier grandement le vendeur pour son excellent service à la clientèle. En effet une des bouteilles que j'ai commandée est arrivée endommagée et donc il manquait les 3/4 du contenu. Tampoco sé si funciona o no porque no es algo que veas a simple vista, será más bien a la larga cuando notes si funciona y te salva la lavadora de averías. Aquí como es agua muy dura prefiero poner remedio antes de que le pase algo a la lavadora.

People who live in areas with HARD water (here in Florida) should be aware that hard water permanently stains clothes when washed. You need a water softener. this product makes all the difference. It cleans the clothes better and prevents stains - like rust stains, that NEVER EVER come out! Hard water ruins clothing. So this product should be advertised for this purpose. Because people don't know.
