Deeper, richer, and somehow spicier than the original
This has become my absolute favorite hot sauce. Whenever I go back to regular Tabasco, I find myself wondering why it tastes so different. The Family Reserve version has a richer, zingier, and earthier flavor that really stands out. Everything I’ve read says it isn’t hotter than the original, but to me it definitely feels that way. There’s more pop and intensity in the spice. If this is what the Tabasco family was keeping for themselves all these years, I can understand why.

Probably my favorite Tabasco Sauce Now!
Decided to give this a shot, as my giant bottle of standard ran out, and the Scorpion only has so many uses as a daily. THIS TABASCO IS AMAZING. It's almost buttery/savory while giving a nice heat and delicious flavor. It's smoother in its notes, than standard by massive measures while packing a better heat. Not as vinegary, yet still holds its acidity so well. Just got my bottle maybe a bit over a week ago, and I'm almost ⅛th done with it. Try this sauce. If you like Tabasco, you will not regret it.

Great as a snack sauce, waste of money if cooked in a soup
This stuff is fantastic used as a table sauce; if you cook with it, you are wasting your money. The Family Reserve is noticeably thicker, and has a much more pronounces red pepper and oak flavor to it. The use of White Wine Vinegar gives a more subtle and well-rounded flavor to the sauce if you add it to fortify your food when it is sitting in front of you on the plate. I actually prefer the original Tabasco Sauce when I am cooking something with it (finishing a soup), but if you have a plate of crawfish/shrimp/clams/corn and want to sprinkle some heat onto it, the Family Reserve is worth every penny. Although it maintains the character of the Original Tabasco Sauce, I find that it's missing the harsh vinegar flavor; this might be a good thing for some people, but it turns it into almost a different sauce.

Really Unique Sauce
This sauce is well worth the high price tag. I am a huge Tabasco fan and am a little bit biased, but I got more than I expected from this sauce. It is not very hot compared to the hottest sauces I have, but it is still probably around 7000-9000 Scoville units, and therefore is not mild by any means at all. The best parts about this sauce are its unique type of heat and flavor. If you're weird like me, you may straight up just drop a teaspoon or so of hot sauce on your tongue when you first try it. When I did this, and when I mixed a good amount of it with food, I felt a slow burn unlike any other sauce I've tried. This is much different from the Original Red Tabasco sauce, which hits pretty quickly. The flavor of this sauce is very distinct and enjoyable, and adds to food even more than the Original Red sauce (which is also pretty freaking amazing). I'll definitely buy more when I run out of my current bottle

Wrong item sent
I love this chipotle Tabasco. But I ordered the 60 ml bottle and they sent me the 148 ml bottle. I wanted the 60 ml bottle for my lunch bag. Very disappointed.

I love this stuff on just about anything, OK not ice cream but savoury food especially things with cheese or mince. My only gripe with this is the size of the bottles. There is another brand that has similar taste, just not as potent that comes in a large bottle, I just know that you can get this in a larger bottle in the US so why can we not get it here?
