A great derma roller
Really easy to use, really easy to clean. Spins free and easy. Great quality all round. The plastic it’s made from feels premium. Fits my hand perfectly and can reach every part of my head with it just fine. Great all round product, would highly recommend for anyone getting into derma rolling

It's OK
In addition to my ageing skin, I have a combination of skin issues which result in uneven facial skin tone and texture. I also have some stretch marks on my abdomen, which I want to make less visible. I am addressing these issues by using various topical products, and I thought I might try derma-rolling in addition. Initially, I was interested in Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), for which the derma-rolling supposedly works. Since I had no previous experience with derma-rolling and I did not want to do something to injure my skin and make things worse, I went for a 0.25 mm size. The derma-roller I received corresponds product description. The quality is OK, it is light and easy to grip and use, though it does squeak. I had no issues with cleaning it, and since it is supposed to be used on clean skin anyway, I don't see how it can get dirty to the point of being difficult to clean. What I like about 0.25mm size is that it is really gentle and I don't feel it at all on my skin, except for my forehead. On the forehead, I can feel that it is there, but unless pressed hard (which should never be done), there is no discomfort or pain. On my face, I used it without a slip, and everything went fine; there were no adverse reactions or skin irritation. I applied a moisturiser after using it, and the next day my skin looked nicer and felt smoother. I also used it on my abdominal stretch marks, this time with a slip (Bio Oil). Again, everything went fine, and the skin felt nicer and softer after use. There were no adverse reactions or irritation; however, the actual size of the roller-head is too small for use on bigger parts of the body, as it would take more time. Since my purchase, I found out that if the intent is to induce collagen production, the .025mm is too small. For CIT, at least 0.5mm size is needed. 0.25mm is suitable for product absorption enhancement, which is how I intend to continue using this and any other derma-roller on my face. All in all, not a bad product, but nothing special, so I could definitely recommend buying it. From what I've seen on Amazon, there seem to be a lot of the same or similar-looking products available at different price points, so the purchasing decision would be completely personal. At £7.99, it is not too expensive; however, considering the time-limited use and that the cost of production is probably minimal, I would not call it a bargain either.

0.5 roller purchased. Other measurements available.
The roller is easy to use, and effective to its purpose. Follow the recommendations on the box - they're very simple, and be sure to clean and sterilise as directed. I use surgical spirit. (USA = Rubbing alcohol). Skin feels better even after 3 uses.

My 6-Week Transformation with this Derma Roller
My 8-Week Transformation with this Derma Roller After struggling with acne scars on my cheeks for years, I finally decided to try microneedling at home with this ROSELYNBOUTIQUE titanium derma roller. Now, 8 weeks in, I can confidently say it's been one of my best skincare investments. The first two weeks were admittedly challenging. The 0.5mm needles felt intimidating, especially across my cheekbones, but I quickly developed a routine. I use it twice weekly (Sunday and Thursday evenings), following a thorough cleanse. I roll in four directions (vertical, horizontal, and both diagonals) with just enough pressure to feel it without causing pain. By week 4, I noticed my deeper scars beginning to soften. Now at 8 weeks, the improvement is remarkable - my ice pick scars have significantly filled in, and the overall texture of my skin is smoother. Even the hyperpigmentation has faded about 40%. I follow each session with a simple hyaluronic acid serum (nothing with active ingredients to avoid irritation) and have been religious about disinfecting the roller with 70% alcohol before and after each use. The handle design makes it easy to control, even around tricky areas like the nose. The initial redness lasts about 6-8 hours, which is why evening application works best for me. By morning, I just look slightly flushed, like I've had a mild workout. For anyone committed to addressing scarring or texture issues, give this 8 weeks of consistent use. Take progress photos - the gradual improvement might be hard to notice day-to-day, but comparing week 1 to week 8 shows dramatic results. I'm planning to continue indefinitely as part of my maintenance routine.

Starting to see results, but it hurts
I've been using this for about 4 weeks, in the hope of reducing my fine lines and signs of ageing especially on my neck. I'm 55 and although my face looks pretty good for my age, my neck has lost a lot of elasticity and looks very crepey. I'm quite self-conscious about my crinkly neck and have tried many creams, lotions and gadgets in an effort to improve the way it looks. This roller actually seems to be working!! I'll be the first to say, it's not fun to use. I have to steel myself to do it. And when I do manage to, I tend to roll the roller frantically to and fro across an area at high speed, rather than the slow gentle moves I've seen people using on videos. Let's be honest, it bloody hurts! Some areas of my face are more sensitive than others, but certainly it's not 'relaxing' as I saw one online reviewer describe it. I guess it's like the difference between slowly peeling back a plaster, and just ripping it off to get the pain over with. I use this probably 5 times a week. I know the instructions say to leave a few days between sessions to allow for healing but honestly, by the next morning there's no redness or anything and no further healing time seems needed. I use the roller last thing at night, after washing my face. Doing my face and neck vigorously takes about ten minutes altogether. My face looks a bit like sunburn straight afterwards but the redness dies down pretty quickly. It's not sore once I've stopped rolling, my face doesn't bleed or anything. I apply a Simple serum straight after, which doesn't sting. It's vital that you thoroughly clean the roller afterwards and then use a 70% alcohol spray to disinfect it between uses. After 4 weeks my skin does seem less papery thin and I think the crepeyness of my neck might be improving. My skin overall looks better although I can't exactly put my finger on why, I just seem to be glowing a bit ( in a good way! ) I will definitely continue using this roller and in fact I've just ordered another with 0.7mm needles to accelerate the process
