This ball is awesome! The light is bright and charge lasts a long time! My son says it’s a little heavier than a regular ball (not much) which he likes because it makes a regular ball feel lighter during games. The ball is exactly as described and works GREAT! Light turns off when not using.

Kids keep stealing it cause they can play basketball after dark. That's great but this is the second one I've had to purchase in the summer. The kids act like moths to a flame with this ball. The teens like it too because it's not too far off from a court ball. it's a rec ball for outside play of course. I just sprayed the hoop with glow in the dark paint and they play for hours. I haven't had to replace the batteries because someone takes it home when I'm not around so I give up. The light is pretty bright. These are great Christmas gifts I guess. For every grad party (I have had 4) they play for hours so it keeps the boredom down for teens. Good grip and bounce. Good purchase.

I picked up the GlowCity Light Up Basketball to test for my tech and lifestyle reviews, and it’s been a hit! The ball uses two internal LEDs that activate on impact—every bounce or dribble lights it up with a bright glow (red in my case). I took it to an outdoor court at night, and it was a game-changer; the visibility is excellent, and it made playing after dark so much fun. The ball itself is a standard size 7 with a good grip, so it performs well for actual gameplay—I didn’t notice any difference in weight or balance compared to a regular basketball. The LEDs are powered by pre-installed batteries, and after a few hours of use, they’re still going strong (GlowCity claims 30 hours of life). My only issue is that the lights can be a bit distracting during serious games, but for casual play, it’s perfect. Great for kids, teens, or anyone who loves a unique sports experience!

This ball is super cool, BRIGHTLY lit, and makes it possible to play basketball well after the sun goes down. While the material is not the same as a regular basketball, it absolutely bounces and works just like a regular ball. Yes, the content is stamped on, but does anyone really care about the stamped content on a ball? We're here to play and shoot, not sit and look at pretty basketball stamped lines! The price point is pretty awesome, considering if allows one to play ball well into the late evening. To get the most out of this purchase, I encourage my son to use his regular basketballs during the day but using this ball in the evening only. This way he can get the most out it and get it to last longer. My son eats, breathes and sleeps basketball. This present was purchased for Christmas 2020. We hadn't had the need to change out the batteries as this is mainly the ball he uses at night. I recently went to switch out the batteries with the company provided batteries but the lights didn't work. I tried my own set of batteries and those also didn't work. I used a battery tester and can confirm all sets of batteries (both from the company and my supply) were in good condition. While I hoped for the best but prepared for the worst, I reached out to GlowCity to see if they would consider sending replacement lights. WOW just wow. They were very quick to respond and sent out lights immediately. I just received the package and noticed they sent TWO sets of lights. In today's world, it is increasingly rare to find a company that actually cares about the customer and demonstrates this level of customer service. It's to the point that we've also all come to just accept that it is what it is. GlowCity provided a level of support that reminds you they still give a cr@p. Really cool ball, really great company!! I'd 10000% purchase from this company again and would recommend this as a super cool ball for any basketball lover.

Great gift. I purchased 2 of these for gifts for 12 year old boys and they liked them. One was a "white elephant" gift and the boys all wanted them.

These basketballs did not disappoint. My kids have so much fun playing with them. They are very good quality and light up bright when you bounce them.

Battery life isn't really there. Nephew said it didn't last very long and needed batteries-- couple days after Christmas probably after the second day it was done for. Battery life is probably the only complaint. I thought it was a charging ball but I guess it's those flat batteries. They should at least come fully charged.

No sirve para jugar!!! Solo se ve muy bonito Pros: tiene tamaño y peso oficial, eso es bueno, se prende cada que bota y se mantiene prendido por un rato, después de no usar un rato se apaga solo. Contras: solo lo usamos una hora y le salieron bolas por todos lados, se ovalo ya no se podía votar porque se iba para otro lado, lo tuve que regresar solo con una hora de uso, lastima porque si nos había encantado, pero solo sirve de adorno
