As a baker I find that King Arthur delivers a dependable, high quality product everytime! Great for French Macarons!!!
This is my first choice for French Macarons! The value for the pound is not the best as there is another brand I can't remember off the top of my head right now but it comes in a 5 lb. blue package for under $40, but the texture of the flour with KA (King Arthur) is unbeatable from what I have seen. When this runs at $10 or less (rare, but it happens occasionally) I do stock up and just keep them in my baking fridge outside. I found that I don't always have to even sift this flour to get glossy, smooth Macarons, it usually is fine enough on its own. I would not however recommend you skip any steps when making your Macarons---they are too fussy and expensive to make to be taking shortcuts. This is great with gluten free baking as well, just make sure all your ingredients are truly gluten free (some cocoas are not, some powdered sugars are not---I know, this sounds crazy, but trust me, I learned the hard way). If you buy this is bulk you usually can save some money, or by using Amazon Pantry. Even if you have to pay more just to try this brand it is worth it. KA is a great, reputable brand that has never let me down in my ten years of baking.

Best almond flour for making macarons.
The almond flour is the best quality I have ever purchased. I have tried many others, but this one is the best and well worth the price. I used 5 bags of it to make macarons for the guest bags at my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. Each batch came out great. The flour is so fine, I only needed to sieve it one time. Other flours I need to sieve 2 or sometimes 3 times.

Quality Almond Flour
I am loving this flour. I recently started cutting carbs, but I had a mad craving for cake. Mug cakes have been trendy recently, and I am the experimental type. I ordered this flour and came up with my own minute gluten-free, super low carb mug cake recipe by tweaking a combination of a couple mug cake recipes and substituting out most/all the carbs (basically the flour and sugar). After 5 tries, I had a delicious moist cake. I brought it for my coworkers and it was a total hit. I'm planning to make more desserts and also try my hand at pizza next. In general, almond flour is definitely pricier than regular flour and even coconut flour, but the Amazon price is pretty competitive. You can't put a price on better health, so I will definitely continue to purchase this.

Same texture as most almond flour
This was plenty good for almond flour. I think I was expecting a more finely ground flour consistency. This mirrors other brands in texture. I trust the King Arthur brand and assume there is a reason that almond flour can't be milled as fine as wheat, potato, or rice flours. Still makes excellent doughs.

Works for macarons
I went with King Arthur because of their impeccable reputation with wheat flours and they seem to keep that quality with this almond flour. The bag has a nice seal that I trust and don't feel the need to transfer it to a different container. I've only used it for macaron batter, so I can't speak to other uses.
