Keeping the water temperature accurate.
This heater works very well for a 75 gallon tank and my fish are very happy.

Temperature not accurate at all
Purchased this about 2 to 3 months ago. The heater would great in the beginning. Now I set the temperature to 80 and will reach 86. So it's pretty off in accuracy. The issue is Amazon will bot give me my refund all they can do is replace it with this same item which I no longer want any parts from Marineland. I have had a few issues with this manufacturer already. I've had a cracked 75 gallon tank, a canister filter for 75 gallon tank leak all over my living room just after 3 weeks, and now this heater. This items are not cheap to be buying and having issues and damaging parts of my home.

AMAZON is the shilznit!
Since Amazon has replaced me going to walmart or any other store for that matter to shop. And heres one MAJOR reason why: because when I had bought a defected or if a product ends up breaking on its own during a specific amount of time they replace whatever item for me with not making me feel as if Im lying, I just return the defect which is logical and done. Helps being a PRIME member which Im glad I always will be.So I bought one of these, it ended up not working after a few months, not due to my fault in anyway, just stopped heating up but Amazon being the outstanding company they are REPLACED IT IMMEDIATELY AND I GOT IT THE NEXT DAY FOR MY LITTLE FISHES! And thats how they roll...awesome. As far as the product when its working it heats up fast.

Faulty!
Broke within 60 days and caused a serious temperature crash in my 10gallon aquarium.

Worked well at first but after a month it's not
Update: I reached out to the manufacturer and told them about my issue. They are sending a replacement to me. I've had it for about a month. It worked well at first but now it acts like there is a short in it. The red light will flicker and sometimes go off completely. It hasn't been maintaining the temp. I always unplug during water changes and don't let the water level drop in between. As luck would have it, the return window just passed a week ago.

Working great, with accurate Heating
I got a really nice price so I purchased this when my Cobalt Heater stopped working after a year. It seems for my long 20 gallon I need 150 watt even though the Marineland Chart shows 75 watt for 20 gallons would work. This came preset at 78. I plopped it in, let it sit for 20 minutes, then plugged it in. When I checked my manual thermostat, it read exactly 78 degrees after 6 hours or so. I turned it down 1 degree to 77 because it is winter currently and did not want it running more often. The water looks clearer and maybe that brown algae that started appearing will go away. Only kind of drawback is it is so big and can't touch gravel. It looks like something out of the Borg. And the long side because of weight I guess tends to dip the suction cup down a bit, and I can't keep it perfectly straight. But I was having trouble heating my tank so something this powerful was needed. The temperature on the heater is somewhat hard to read. I think it shows 76 when it should show 77 but that's why I have a backup thermostat in the tank.

Long Lasting
I love this product. Cool looking, great design, easy and reliable to use. I had one of their first 100w versions made back in the early 90's. It lasted me through countless different tank set ups and break downs. I used it in Salt water, and Freshwater alike. Unfortunately, after 20 plus years, it finally showed signs of ware, with condensation and dripping forming on the inside. Not to mention I was last using 100wts on a 60 gallon tank. So after saying all that, I can not recommend enough. One problem.... It is beefier, bigger, longer, wider, then my 100w and with my aqua scaping, it does stick out. But that is a small issue comparatively.
