ATTRACTIVE, QUIET, FUNCTIONAL
Excellent retrofit for decades old fan that finally quit. Assembly and installation a bit tricky but everything fits perfectly and the hoisting logistics are safe and comfortably ergonomic for one-person installation. Use a good sturdy stepladder. Allow a few hours start to end to remove old one and assemble/install this nice new one. I Expect it to run continuously for a decade or two without any issues. If you're not into installing things, hire someone who is. Difficulty of installation 2+ on a 1-10 scale = not trivial but reasonably easy.

overall easy to install. 6 inch down rod is only good for 8 foot ceilings. If you have a 9 or 10 foot you will want to get a 12 inch (9 foot) to 18 inch for 10 -11 foot ceiling. Luckily I was replacing a brass fan so I used the 12 inch I had on me. Over all seems to be decent. Balanced well so I did not need to balance after installing.

Love the vintage look and works great for a guest size bedroom! Minimal noise, needs brighter bulbs, don’t bother with the extensive questionnaire they only send you one free bulb.

Do not buy this,,, it is a solid good fan but it is not made for UK housing it is a 110 volt unit, fan and lights MAINLY used in the American markets
