Toyota Transmission Service Tool
Worked great for creating a Toyota Transmission Service Tool instead of jumpering wire into the OBD2 connector

Useful to enable diagnostic mode
Some cars require you to short pins in the obd connector to enter diagnostic mode. This lets you pre solder a connection so you don't have to fumble with the connector on the car

Good enough, functional
Simple product, but did the trick to build a cable I needed for car diagnostics.

Very helpful for jumping pins
I needed to jump two pins on my car's OBD2 port, but the port was tucked under the dash and I couldn't see it very well. Jumping the wrong two pins could scramble the car's ECU, so this was a safe alternative. I simply soldered the correct two pins together, closed up the case, and I can jump the pins together just by plugging this in. Recommended.

Form Fit Function
Form, Fit, Function -- 100%. Look exactly like the housing for the ELM units (probably the same).

Build your own car CAN bus sniffer
I put a USB to CAN converter module in this enclosure and made my own professional looking CAN sniffer to use with "The Car Hacker's Handbook".

It works, be careful with it though.
I'm using this product to jump out pins 4 to 12, and 5 to 13. I was able to make jumper wires and actually use crimped on metri pack female connectors. All in all the product works for what I need it to. The biggest issue I have with the product is that the obd2 connector itself just sits into the shell, this allows a small amount of play from the connector inside of the shell which could easily lead it to breaking at some point. For any of you that work on equipment that uses a Isuzu 4jj1, this setup will work to clear hard ecm codes while in diagnostic mode if you don't have an idst handy.
