Introduction to Uṣūl al-Fiqh (IOK Seminary Curriculum Series)

I am glad to have found and read this book. It’s easy to read and well structured. Excellent for those who need to understand the basics on usul al-fiqh

I was looking for a book like this for a while in English. It gives a good understanding of the different topics and differences in Fiqh for someone trying to understand the topics in simple language.

Covers the tools of usul with examples. Also history of its formation.

This is the best intro to usul al-fiqh in English that I've seen. It's an excellent blend of conciceness and depth. It's not wordy, it lists out Arabic terms which are vital, and it describes many things that every Muslim should know without getting too deep or being too shallow. Great work. I hope the sheikh publishes an intro to aqeeda at some point!

Usul al-Fiqh is no easy subject, and breaking it down to a digestible way is no simple task. May Allah ﷻ bless this author; he’s made the lives of many students of knowledge easier!

Excellent for beginners

Shaykh Furhan does it again! Any aspiring student of knowledge should get their hands on this great textbook. He explains each concept with examples to help illustrate the points being taught and does well to provide the Arabic as well as the English to any axioms he shares. If more people had the knowledge that was within this textbook, there'd be much less arguing over fiqh and more understanding of where these rulings are coming from. God Bless Shaykh Furhan!
