Outstanding model kit. Take your time working the pieces into place during assembly. Thus, your ZL1 will turn out great. Make sure you follow the directions, too. As an experienced model builder, this kit comes together well if you study the pieces during assembly and examine the fit. Your pieces will come together well without the use of force. Bottom line, take your time. Make sure you Inventory your parts upon receiving your kit. My first kit had missing decals and one missing plastic piece. Amazon was great with my return and replacement. My Camaro ZL1 turned out great! I just wish there was a color option as I have a white ZL1. Yet, this kit rocks! A "must have" for Camaro lovers.

I got this for my bf as one of his Christmas gifts and he LOVED IT I swear I saw the little kid in him come out. He said it was easy to build and a beautiful display model.

I have little experience when putting together miniture car models. My experience ranges from complex paper models to snap on easy gundams (plastic robot models) So when i say cryptic directions its quite literally a sheet of paper that has lines and numbers pointing you to what needs to snap in. Im not inherintly saying its not understandable but if you have no idea what youre doing you may need a youtube video. But besides the building you kind of have to manhandle some of the pieces to snap in but once it does it comes out clean and nice. For the price of it and how it came out it was perfect gift for my father.

The quality of the model car is really good, look very nice on display. The only problem I ran into was that engine piece didn’t really fit so that made the hood not close properly. Other then that this is a really good product 8.4/10
