this stuff is gold! my husband uses it and it works so well. not greasy or sticky. good value for the price and holds hair all day.

Smells divine- like a crisp Granny Smith- and works really well to give volume to my thick, yet somewhat fine, hair. I am terrible at styling so I don’t know for sure what all I can do with my hair in that regard; but this spray doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it crisp like so many other volumizing products tend to do. The size of the largest bottle is enough to last at least half a year, I’d say.

Unlike products like sea salt sprays and other prestylers, this is a reliable friend. It always leaves my hair shiny with a slight hold and a bit more texture than before. I have not had any bad experiences with this but only give it 4 stars because the non-spray version is cheaper and the same product for a larger amount. I have yet to find a bad reuzel product and the quality is definitely great.

I like how this product smells and it’s perfect for a light hold with my shorter hair styles. Keeps the frizz down and once it dries on wet hair it can be messed with to be a non shiny while maintaining the hold.

This is my singular hair product I use on a day-to-day basis. I used to use Reuzel's surf tonic which worked really well for me, but after I noticed the salt spray starting to dry out my hair and scalp, I made the switch. I use it on towel-dried hair and comb it to get the shape I want, then air or blow-dry, and run my fingers through it to break it up for a great, natural look that holds all day, no other products required. It also smells really nice when applying and dries with no noticeable smell. My hair is shorter, straight, and fairly thick, and it works well for me but I'm not sure how it would do with other hair types. I know a lot of people use it as a pre-styler, but this is all I need. My one minor complaint is the spray nozzle - the surf tonic always came with a larger, locking spray button that felt very sturdy. This one came with a standard, smaller, non-locking push button spray nozzle. The picture shows the one I'm used to, so maybe I just got a weird inconsistent one. Overall, I highly recommend it! It's definitely worth the higher price in comparison to similar products.
