I’ve always associated ascots to stuffy European men of a certain age, but then I reached that age, had a couple social engagements requiring coat and tie, and took a chance with an ascot given the low price and low risk with Amazon’s return policy. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the matching ascot with pocket square which received many complements from both men and women. A wonderful additional unexpected benefit is much higher comfortable loose knot which enables you to remain far cooler than a standard neck tie. I wouldn’t wear this to any formal or casual business event, but this is definitely a fun, stylish accessory for more formal social events. Enjoy!

Pattern is nice along with matching pocket square and cuff links. The issue is the fabric isn’t the best. Not really silky soft and not high quality silk. It has a look but certainly not the one I really wanted.
