Innovo Medical Forehead and Ear Thermometer, Fever Detection for Adults and Children White and Silver

As you already know, there are hundreds if not thousands of thermometers on the market making it extremely difficult to decide which one to buy. Currently, I have 3 thermometers and each one gives a different temperature reading and none are consistent. So far, the Innovo JPD-FR100+ is accurate and consistent with its readings. And the ease of use is great, takes about 3 seconds to take your temp. Note: When I first turned it on, the display read ER-1 (ambient temperature exceeds 104F) but went away after about 5 minutes the error disappeared. I live in Arizona and it was 114F outside when the package was delivered.

I was drawn to this item from the reviews on Amazon and I am not disappointed. First, It arrived very fast and in tip top condition. I've only had it for a few days and it seems to be very accurate and excellent quality. The instructions are easy to read, the display very easy to see and maneuver through! I also liked the fact it had the pull tab to remove to get the batteries to make contact increasing battery life before first using. I'll sum up this review in these words, an excellent product!

not sure of the true accuracy but if it is, it registers spot on! fever gives you the red light and beeping. if it's ok, you remain in the green. nice home tool.

Great temperature reader

This is the second brand of forehead thermometers I've bought. The first was not bought on Amazon and it was very inaccurate - I sent it back. But this one works perfectly!! I use it everyday on my family. I've had a few times when the temp was a little higher and each time I would then try the oral thermometer, and sure enough, that was higher too. So it's very accurate. And it works instantly - no waiting, like you do for an oral thermometer. And no worries of transferring germs. I absolutely love this thermometer!!

My unit was 2 degrees Celsius off on the high side in readings. With the COVID pandemic I got real worried that I have a fever so I checked myself with other thermometers. Then I also tested it on other people. In all cases the readings by this unit were high - in the 39+ degrees C range - while the other thermometers showed normal temperatures in the 36.5 - 36.8 C range (ear measurements). This could be very dangerous if the error goes the other way and one may have fever and the readings show normal temperatures. This unit is less accurate than industrial thermometers, not suitable for medical use.

Nice thermometer. Easy to use and it is consistent. With this pandemic we are needing to use a thermometer more often. With the added holder it is nice To keep it right on the bathroom counter for ease-of-use. The lighted display area makes it easy to read day or night. We tend to use the forehead reader rather than ear meter however either it’s very simple to use.

When taking temperature the results were never the same, 85, 102, 95 all with a matter of minutes. I am sure it was a dud but inconvenient. Everything else was great no waiting for the results easy to read.
