Leveled out my 2014 F150 just right - but installation ain't easy!
This kit is great and fitment on top of my struts went just fine. I'm glad I went with the 1.5" because it actually ended up leveling out my truck. I think the 2" spacer would've made the front slightly higher than the back which I didn't want due to the occasional weekend trailer towing. I consider myself pretty strong in most DIY work and this project is definitely do-able, but you absolutely must have the right tools and a decent amount of experience working on cars/trucks. Just because you have a 17mm socket doesn't mean it's the right length socket, or wrench, etc. The kit comes with a list of tools needed but I found it wasn't comprehensive. Things I wish I had to make the job easier: a lift, a quality 1/2" air impact driver, and larger variety of socket/wrench sizes and lengths. Yes this would apply to most auto work but you know what I mean. The most challenging part is avoiding tearing up brake lines when the control arm falls and you're trying to get the strut in/out. You absolutely must remove the brake caliper and hang it out of the way. If you don't you are risking damage to your brake lines which could cost you a tow plus more than it would've costed to have these installed for you. You might be like me and forget, find yourself in a bind holding it up, while trying to tell my 7 year old how to bring me a bungee cord...what color Daddy? Can I have this one? Just bring it to me! (sweat beads fall...). As a shade tree mechanic using manual tools, and a couple of procedures I wouldn't brag about...overall this took me about 7-8 hours in the garage. I also went to Precision Tune for an alignment the next day and it did indeed need adjustment. So for anyone in doubt go ahead and assume on that expense as well, or you'll ruin your tires pretty quick. Also be sure to watch a few different YouTube videos on installation so you can get as many tips as possible. I did enjoy it overall and always take pride in doing things myself. Total cost was just the kit, alignment, a little blood, sweat, worry, almost some tears too...but if that doesn't sound like fun to you, then I highly recommend asking your buddies for a recommendation on a good shop. It's ok to support your local mechanics too.

Great fit and did the job on 2012 F150
So here is the real deal on the product, it is awesome and fit perfect. It raised the truck 2" and made it look perfectly level without any modification to the rear suspension. Not sure why people give the product anything less than 5 star, it fit perfect and super easy to put on the strut. Wish people would rate the product and not the packaging or install. NOW, the install is the trick. Watch a you tube video and don't try to be quick on this. Loosen the upper control arm and stabilizer bar link. This will save you a lot of head ache and give you extra clearance to remove the strut. Believe it or not the most difficult bolt/nut to break free was the bottom one that holds the strut. Ford decided 9000 LB torque would be appropriate. My impact gun wouldn't budge it, but a little PB Blaster and a 5' cheater bar did the trick. Removing the strut is not too tricky, but putting it back with the block is a little more fun. All in all it goes smooth, just be patient and you will love the results.

Seriously glad I went with 1.5" instead of the 2.0" kit!
Installed on 2019 F-150 4x4 Crew Cab FX4 This was the perfect product for what I wanted to accomplish. The truck now looks level, but has a very slight rake still. I've measured it on multiple surfaces and the back of the truck is around 1/4" higher than the front. If I had gone with the 2" kit, there is no doubt the rear would be slightly lower than the front. I measured things before and after the installation and this kit, which uses spacers that measure about 1", did provide exactly 1.5" of lift on the front of my truck when measured at the center line of the front wheels. I did not have to do anything to the rear suspension setup and got the perfect "level" from these. It's true that these aren't exactly "easy to install", but the spacers are well made and the kit is good. The comments about the bolts being long is how I've seen most of the spacers on the market come. You simply grind/cut down the excess after installing the spacers before re-installing the assembly in the truck. I am extremely satisfied with this kit and glad I went this route!

Nicely made stud bolts need better design
Nicely made but my only complaint is the threaded holes for the studs. You need to Make sure and tighten them well before installing on your strut tower and then into your pickup. If those screws are not good and tight they will back out once you start installing the nut onto the top of the strut tower frame bracket. That means taking all That back out to fix. It would be better if they were reverse threaded. Regardless it’s a good kit for the money.

Easy install
Quite an easy installation. You will be able to use hand tools with a little muscle and not necessarily air impact tools. First one will take a majority of the time, but second will be a breeze. Look up the video online on American Truck. This lays out all tools, jack stands and torque specs to get the job done. I am very mechanically inclined and it took me a little over an hour for both sides. The level of your truck is perfect with still a tiny bit of rake looking at the running boards of the truck. 2" leveling kits are too much and makes it look like a pre-runner. This is about 1 3/8" lift.

A+ kit! Great price.
I bought a 2017 F150 which had a 2.5" leveling block. I wasn't comfortable with the upper control arm or CV axle angles. I purchased the 1.5" kit to relax the angles and still have the front end raised a bit. This kit is a true 1.5 inch lift and the angles are much more acceptable. Truck still has some rake. My son is a Ford tech and did the install for me. He also complimented on buying a quality kit. Said he's seen some crappy one come through the shop. Truck looks good and I'm very satisfied with the Motofab kit. Their website has them for $74.00 same thing here for $49.00

Great kit, raised my front end 1.5 inches as advertised making my truck almost completely level which is just what I wanted.

These were pretty easy to install. Only problem I had was the 3 factory strut bolts were too long and were not flush with the spacer. I had to cut about half an inch off of the strut bolts on both sides to make them seat below the spacer, than installed them. I'm glad I went with the 1.5 inch leveling spacer as supposed to the 2 inch or the 2.5 inch ones, right now as the truck seats after installing the spacers, the rear axle is 4 cms higher than the front ones and they make the truck look leveled, and it still rides like stock.

Seemed to actually lift a bit more than 1.5". Good product!

Raised the front of my truck now it sits leveled. Came early and super easy install since I’ve installed them many times over the years.
