Can go wrong with an American classic any time of the year!
A classic and staple of every BBQ. Yeah, you can get all fancy with other products, but I have always counted on the predictable success of lighting and the long heat provided by Kingsford. Also, charcoal has a distinct taste that is essential in anything prepared on an outdoor grill, that unforgettable scent and slightly charred flavor, makes everything amazing.

Charcoal: not all the same
Price was good. A little tough to lite. Burns quite quick, and not as hot as I wood like. Probably better for smoking, instead of searing.
