Excellent Quality, Heavy Duty Battery Tender - Buy this knowing you'll be quite happy
Well if you know Battery Tender then you already know what this review will say. If you do not know this brand please read. The size is what you would expect from this item, there are smaller foot print battery tenders available but the charge rate does drop. This particular model work amazingly well The charge rate is exactly what one would hope for in a tender - it is not a "fast" charge as it is not meant to be; However, it does get the battery full quickly The indicator lights are bright and easy to read/understand at a quick glance Battery Tender durability is excellent I have a few actually one is over 10 years old and going strong

It just works. Get this to keep your Hybrid 12V maintained when not driving.
It just works. I have a newer Hybrid vehicle. Generally we won't drive it much in the winter, and lo behold the 12V battery was at ~3V or so after about 10 days outside in the cold. So we battery pack boosted it and drove around. Got it back up to charge. Purchased a Noco5 and it was worthless. Just read it was at 25% no matter what mode it was in. Checked voltage at 12.1V and it still read 25%. Sure enough after a week or so the battery was running to about 6V and I sent the Noco5 back. Enter this little gem. Keeps the 12V maintained, granted it's only been a couple of days now, but put it on at 11.4V and read it again after taking it off today at 12.2V. I will update after winter to see how this holds up but at the moment very pleased that it's as simple as plugging it in.

BOTTOM LINE: IT WORKS!!!
I gave it 5 stars because it worked perfectly, and exactly as advertised. The only issue I had was with the instructions, not the product. Once I figured out how to use the product, it was very easy. The instructions are unnecissarily confusing.. I would recommend using your head more than the instructions when using it, and only refer to the instructions when interpreting what the various light combinations are telling you. Bottom line: It works.

Perfect trickle charger
Fantastic for keeping my Mustang charged through infrequent use over the winter months. Simple….attach to battery terminals, plug it in and walk away. Cord length is great and status lights are clear.

Good little charger
The charger works well but it would be nice if it included the ring terminals instead of requiring you to buy them separately.

Edited My truck battery was frozen, dead, and this couldn't detect it. I jump-started the truck, took it for a short drive, then hooked it up again. It detected the battery and charged it in a day. :) UPDATE :( Today I went to hook it up to the truck and got a spark when I plugged it in, the wire on the ac cord has stripped where it comes out of the unit. Fortunately it was my last day to return it. I also have the 1.25 amp model which is 10 years old, a better design, still works great, and is conveniently unavailable right now. I wanted a larger one for the truck. I returned it. Have to think now.
