Have been purchasing this tea for over 20yrs. It has been consistent in its flavor and quality.

I have been drinking this brand of green tea almost my entire life. I love it and do not plan to change. It is always great quality and taste. The color after brewing is perfect. I think this is perfection in tea.

Only tea brand I will drink. Price here is very reasonable, stores have it at around $4.00 a box. Please don’t stop selling this!!

Drank this green tea in Japan, they actually drink it there. ,y wife is Japanese and she loves this brand . This is a thousand times better than American green teas. Buy it. Wonderful tea. Very smooth and natural taste plus individually wrapped bags in foil keeps them fresh in your desk or pocketbook

Years ago I had the best tea at a sushi restaurant and asked what they were serving. They showed me a box of this Yamamotoyama sencha green tea and I’ve been buying it ever since. It’s a mild, smooth taste and consistently good. Highly recommend.

Smooth taste ; will purchase again

I've been testing out a lot of teas lately. I started with Jasmine and went to Green tea. They're both OKAY, I bought them mostly for health benefits. Both teas are pretty subtle. It is Japanese so you know the quality is at least there. Each cup of tea I brew has a light green color and I add some honey so it's tolerable. It's different from British black tea which is addicting and sweet, but I like to have tea instead of coffee so I will continue to use this. My favorite however is Matcha.

Yamamotoyama has many different grades of Japanese Sencha, including several offered on Amazon. This is problably considered one of their 'lower' grades or an everyday tea. It is still a very authentic and tasteful cup of tea, compared to many of the other offerings posing as Green Tea. Most Japanese Senchas have a 'grassy' smell and/or taste compared to green teas from other countries. This tea also has a 'grassy' smell and taste. If you brew the bag too long, the taste will become stronger, so you can adjust the brewing time. This is a reasonable priced Sencha, that you can drink everyday (I drink it throughout the day) and then move on to higher grades of Japanese Sencha. Amazon and many stores, sell the same box individually. You could try 1 box, if you don't like it, nothing lost. I bought the 6 pack for convenience, and the price was lower when I bought it.
