Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Reliable and informative, as always - I have quite a few Lonely Planet guides and they never disappoint. This Vietnam edition is no different, it’s clear, informative, and packed with useful tips. It covers a wide range of destinations and practical info, and the format makes it easy to take with you while travelling. One small thing I’d love to see in future editions is a bit more background or curiosity about the places themselves, more of a travel guide to the culture and sights rather than so much focus on hotels and restaurants, especially since it’s now so easy to find those online. Still, it’s a fantastic resource and a great companion for anyone planning a trip. Review: Easy reference book if where to visit - Very good…

Great book but don't buy kindle version
I bought kindle version of this book as I had limited space in my rucksack. I'd never have a guide book again on kindle. It does not work. Very hard to navigate.

Lots of tips in the book, great to use as a guide of what to do in each country. I planned a 3 week trip and used this a lot to help me decide where to get.

Although I acknowledge the guide combines three diverse countries and thus it cannot be very extensive, I would have liked some more info and details on alternative options for the countryside.

As all lonely planets, this is full of excellent tips and reviews of the sights/ sites to visit. Quite a lot of information . Useful to read -before you go.

A useful primer on a vast region. Although it's common these days for people to go "online" for travel information (e.g. my students) this is a solid, broad and helpful guide to planning and actually moving, backpacking around a wonderful part of the world.
