Tara Nature’s Formula Nurture Conditioner The 250 ml / 8.4 fl oz plastic bottle of Tara Nurture conditioner is unfortunately not my new favorite. To begin with, nothing about the way the product is packaged made me excited to try it. The bottle arrived in a sealed plastic bag, which is good because there was no seal between the cap and the bottle. The first thing I noticed is that the bottle caves in a bit on one side like we’ve all seen plastic bottles do. I opened the bottle to see if that would eliminate the caving, and it helped, but it didn’t alleviate it completely. The front of the conditioner tells me it’s made with apple stem cell extract, grapeseed oil, shea butter, and mango seed butter. Sounds good. The back of the bottle gives me the entire list of ingredients and explains in simple terms what some of the ingredients are, but not all. I’ve recently learned how to spot silicone and I see two silicone ingredients (look for ingredients that end in “cone” or “xane): Amodimethicone and Dimethicone. It’s my understanding that those two will build up on hair so you’ll want to use a clarifying shampoo occasionally. The bottle is recyclable, and an icon tells me that the conditioner is good for 24 months after opening. However, the printed markings towards the bottom of the bottle are L: 00C01, P: 03/20 (production date?), and E: 03/23 (expiration date?), which would be three years. I ordered and received this conditioner in Oct 2022, so that would leave just 5 or 6 months until expiration. I thought the scent of this conditioner would be apple, and there is the slightest apple scent though the mostly plastic bottle scent that I detect when smelling the open container. While using the conditioner there wasn’t any detectable scent. While writing this review I put a small amount on the back of my hand and there was just the slightest scent (but still mostly unpleasant plastic bottle scent) that quickly dissipated. However, the conditioner did do a good job of conditioning my oily, straight, fine (but I have a lot of it), shoulder-length hair. It didn’t weigh my fine hair down, which is the most important factor in a conditioner for me, so I’ll use it up but wouldn’t reorder. There are better options at this price point. Vegan, safe for color-treated or relaxed hair, and sulfate, paraben, mineral-oil, and cruelty-free according to the Amazon listing. However, that information is not listed on the bottle. Made in Spain.

Not the Right Conditioner for My hair
This is not the right conditioner for my hair. It dispenses, applies to/rinses from hair without issue. After rinsing, my hair looked and felt like wet straw. It didn't detangle-in fact, it seemed to add tangles. Had to use some leave-in conditioner in order to get a comb through my hair. While it did deliver some softness, it pretty much made my hair limp with my natural waves more on the straight side. There is a light scent that I didn't care for-reminded me of plastic. However, by the time my hair air dried, the scent was no longer detectable. It faded quickly. Due to little positive results as well as a price on the high-side, I have no plans to continue to use/purchase this conditioner again.

Good conditioner, but inconvenient and unattractive packaging
I have been using this Tara Nurture Nourishing Conditioner. Cruelty-Free: Smooth, Soften and Strengthen with Apple Stem Cell Extract. Free from Parabens, Sulfates and Mineral Oils (8.4 Fl Oz) together with the Tara Nurture Shampoo for about 2 weeks now. I enjoy the scent, which reminds me of a Granny Smith apple. It's odd that the conditioner and shampoo from the same line don't have the same fragrance though. The shampoo bottle states it’s Acai, strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry. I didn't care for the bottle or the screw top. It's much easier to use a pump system in the shower than to start unscrewing bottles. The opening is also quite small, so I anticipate issues when I get to the bottom of the bottle. The plastic of the bottle is also unusual. Even after adding more air to the bottle, it remains dented. This is not the case with the shampoo bottle. I'm curious if this is done on purpose to make squeezing out the conditioner easier. The conditioner itself appears to be effective. Because my hair is damaged and I use extensions, I leave it on for a little longer than recommended. This conditioner works well when I use my shower brush to detangle my hair. I just think they should reconsider their packaging (including the bland color).

Great conditioner, not an overwhelming scent
This Tara Nature's Formula Nurture Conditioner - Hydrating Treatment For Women And Men With All Types of Hair is a nice fairly natural based conditioner that contains no sulfates, no parabens, no mineral oil, and is vegan and cruelty-free, which are all things that we are learning are more important in hair and beauty care. This is helpful especially not having a lot of build-up with fine hair. Although the container size is significantly smaller than I would like. It is only 250 ML (which is just under 8.5 oz), This conditioner does a nice job. I did not have the shampoo to also wash my hair at the same time. I did find this to be a very nice conditioner. I did find that for the amount that you get, the $39.00 price tag was rather high for what I find reasonable for daily, or even weekly use even if you were to alternate this with other brands to help alleviate the costs. However, if you have a special occasion, I do find that this brand is very nice. I am super sensitive to smells lately, and I do not find this to be an overwhelming scent either.

Smells great
Works great and it fits the description perfectly. This conditioner leaves my hair feeling healthy without weighing down my fine hair. I am impressed with the quality and value! My only complaint is I wish it had a pop top instead of a screw off lid. It's hard to screw the lid with wet hands.
