As someone who is new to the whole diamond painting thing, I was very glad that I read some articles and watched a few videos to get some tips BEFORE I got started. If I had tried to do this hobby without, say, a light board, I don't think I would have enjoyed it! At any rate.... This kit, plus a purchase of some washi tape to put along the sticky edges of the canvas, really gave me everything I needed to get started (although I did end up ordering one of those things that holds four drill trays, because I was tired of only doing one color at a time and I was also having problems with jostling the drill tray -- having one of these has really improved the diamond painting experience!)Coming back to this product... The lightboard is good -- I really like the progressive brightness control (as opposed to just a couple of settings), but I don't understand why the brightness is uneven, with the board being much brighter at the "top" (where it plugs in) than it is at the bottom. But, regardless, it's enough light to do the trick wherever the part of my canvas that I'm working on falls on the light board! (I also wouldn't have minded the board being maybe a couple of inches longer, but, again, it suffices as is.) I liked the pouch the rest of the stuff comes in and I feel like I have almost all the little tools I need or might want. I briefly tried one of the multi-drill pens, but I wasn't a fan (not that there was anything wrong with the pen), especially since I do diamond painting as more of a meditative thing and I'm not in any rush to finish a painting as quickly a I can. Oh, and I make a lot of use out of the drill organizer, too, and I've had almost no problems with it misbehaving (a compartment opening when it shouldn't or whatever).At any rate....under $20 for a need-to-have thing and a bunch of additional nice-to-have things is a very good deal (and better than trying to buy everything, or even just the most important things, separately)!

Got exactly what I paid for.PROS: the LED light works amazing, cord on for light is a decent length, everything came as described, fast shipping, and it works great with the pic. On the lightCONS: LED needs to be hooked up to electricity in order to work, the waxes were kinda small compared to my othersOVERALL: this is a great price for everything u get. I would recommend getting this to anyone who likes to do DIY diamond painting crafts :)

Over all this product is a good buy for the price, but the actually Diamond painting and diamonds were missing which I was very disappointed in. The pens are also kinda flimsy so I had to order a separate pen to pick up the diamonds. However I love the light pad because it is bright and is very light weight. I also really like the diamond containers.

Where is the 150 pieces??????? Came in an easy to open box.The light board could have been a bit bigger. I think I wasted my $20.00 butttt the light was very bright so I did like that. As for recommending this item I'll just say if you want it go for it. It's your money.

This kit is A MUST for diamond painting!! Especially the little containers to keep the beads in! I bought one for myself then purchased another for my mom!! It comes with a bunch of other goodies that makes diamond painting so much more easy to do! Highly recommend!

The pad's plastic backing is so thin and cheap that it is reshaping and unable to hold charging cord in the right position. It keeps falling out! So now it is basically trash.☹
