The taste is ok, if you are familiar with Pongal and it will save you time. If you are not familiar with Pongal, you may not like the taste. Good for people who do not stay in family and in a busy schedule. As far as the contents are concerned, I feel that there is less ghee. I generally add a little extra ghee to increase the flavour. Overall, it's good.

Nice flavour, slightly mushy texture, but not too much of a put down. Well worth it.

Very tasty and perfect. Quantity is also good. I wish they could reduce the amount of black pepper. Texture is also good.

It is not too spicy, which is an important consideration for me, as spicy, chilli-hot food irritates my stomach. So this is a plus point. Taste wise, it is just OK. However, it is good as a snack when there is no food in the house. It is very easy to prepare -- just add hot water.

There are too many black pepper corns-I counted 20 in just 1 bowl-in it. Which is why I stopped buying this. Experts prepare the same quantity with a maximum of only 6 pepper corns.
