Works great and just what my daughter needed!

this calculator is great. the size is perfect so you can easily fit it in a pencil case or backpack. its easy to use and has instructions on how to use if stuck. its durable and is able to withstand many falls on the floor. it’s accurate and incredibly easy to use.

What can I say, Texas Instruments are highly trusted for a reason. I've had this model for several months, and the model before it for over fifteen years. From general math functions such as trig and geometry to physics and chemistry, this calc beats out all others. I'm pretty decent at solving equations and such, but I'm pretty much a failure at simple multiplication and division...I just can't do them in my head! This calculator has been with me through thick and thin, and it couldn't have come to me at a more crucial time in my life. Fifth grade, I thought I was totally math illiterate. I seriously thought of becoming a fifth grade drop out, because I couldn't do simple math to fit into the giant scheme of things. Without those first foundational blocks, you just cannot move on to the next big thing. I got to sixth grade and my math teacher then let me use this calculator, and I'm not even joking..I became SO GOOD at math. I begged my dad to get this calc for me for Christmas of '00 and I've been a mathlete since. Bottom line. Be a good parent and get your kid this calculator. Be a good student and make your life a million times easier by buying this calculator. If you're a teacher, and see a kid who catches on quick but can't do the 'easy' stuff, call the parent and tell them to be a good parent. I wish mrs. Strange would have.

I am a calculators' collector. I studied industrial engineering and business management, so my need for the "right" calculator was constantly changing (as requested from my professors). I was in need of using several graphic, financial, statistical calculators in a permanent bases. I have always had to have more than one 'cause I never knew which was I would be allowed to use in exam. This one always made it to the exams!!! Throughout the years, I have bought several TI calculators, the fancier the better, but when I was needing a basic scientific calculator with more than just basic functions, I looked for this brand again because I knew I could trust the quality of TI products. And I was right, out of all the many calculators I have used throughout my entire education I can say that this one is still my favorite one. It is very easy to use and it is teachers' friendly. Good enough to solve numerical problems, and not to much to stop the students from using their own reasoning and thinking. Great Product!!!

This calculator does not graph, but it is perfect for my chemistry class. LOVE the color!! This calculator was suggested by my Chemistry Professor. I got compliments the first day that I used it in class & the other student also ordered one in the “lavender” color. Easy to use, inexpensive, but perfect for chemistry!! I would purchase again.
