filter is 5 years old spent almost $500 I replaced the handle because it broke, andI did not abuse I put the new handle on and it worked about three times before the collar in the filter broke . now it dont work again Bottom line Danner filters (pondmaster)work ok but are made like crap

Shame on this company for making such a poor quality product and charging a RIDICULOUS price. I end up having to purchase this same thing every year. This and the shaft adapter should be made of something more durable.
