Mutti – Pizza Sauce Classica, Pizza Sauce, 400g, (Pack of 12)

I buy these in bulk for pizza sauce, which saves me a shopping time, and I know that I always have some at home. You can use the sauce out of the box, or add spices according to your taste. They taste good and seem high quality. Great value for money, and easy to use.

Great pizza sauce

I read the Reviews first and decided to opt for the Classic Pizza Base Sauce. So glad that I did! It is as good as what other people have said. Well worth the extra pennies. Indeed it tastes like it is Homemade. I’ve found over the years that you can never go wrong with Mutti but this Sauce is particularly exceptional. Especially when you are too tired to make your own Pizza Sauce or you just fancy a quick Pizza with the least effort. I cheat even further and buy ready made Pizza Bases and keep them in the Freezer for those “I must have a Pizza!” days 😁

Decided to give this a try and i like it, Makes my pizza taste just like the ones from Bella Italia restaurants. Its a little more watery than the napolina passata i have been using. I like to add schwartz spicy italian seasoning to the sauce and then it becomes next level in the taste department. Use by date on mine is about 28 months (BBD 01/2024, bought 09/21)so great to stick in your cupboard for food storage as well. Will be adding this to my regular shopping list.

You don't need to add anything to this if you want to make a real Neapolitan pizza, assuming you have a pizza oven (it still tastes just as good on an oven pizza). You can use passata or a tomato polpa but this has a better consistency (finer than polpa but more texture than passata - best of both worlds)
