This is a nice latch hook kit. I bought it thinking it would keep my very active granddaughter (age 7) busy when I babysit her. I like that everything needed to complete the project is included in the kit. She is able to do this craft and liked the idea of it but it really was too tedious and repetitive of an activity for her so she only had the patience to work on it a few minutes each time she came over. It took her several months to finish (with some help and a bit of encouragement along the way). This would be great for someone more content to sit still for longer periods of time. The finished product is attractive and ready to display without any additional steps required.

These are super cute sets and my 10 year old daughter loves them. You won’t need to jump in and help with this craft either, which is a bonus haha

Cute project but made it harder to do since the actual latch hook was so tiny. Holes should be bigger so that the latch can be bigger. Yarn should be thicker strands. But overall cute.

Bought it and it’s fun to do it and keeps you busy and relaxed

This kit is great - has clear directions and everything you need to create an adorable panda "rug". It is small, so "rug" is more the texture of the picture, rather than the intended use of it. Also, be careful when ordering "used like new"; our latch hook came damaged which made the kit unusable. We bought a new one at Walmart and still saved money instead of buying the full price new kit, but if you're buying this to use as a gift, beware.

I remember latch hooking as a young girl and wanted to share this with our granddaughters who loves doing crafts. We are adding a back to them and making them into pillows.

I bought this for a young 8-year-old to be introduced to latch-hooking. She has worked on it off-and-on for 7 months. She thinks the hooking part is a little too hard. I have tried to coach, but it hasn't helped enough. The panda picture is really cute. Whenever it is finally finished, it will make a nice decoration.
