Q: does the hose it comes with attach to the tire either screw on or other?

This Compressor set up comes with everything you need and the hose comes with an air chuck on it..and attachments forairing up air matress, balls, etc. if your going to air up all tires if you let the air out for being in sand give it some time to cooloff inbetween each tire, it does a great job! its not a shop compressor with a big air tank but it is faster than most portable units. its been a great tool to have since I go way out on hunts in the boonies and helped out a few stranded peopleand had a tire plug kit handy as well. good way to earn some 12 packs!

Q: Can the psi be controlled to a constant 40psi in order to blow out RV water lines for winterization?

With an external regulator, yes. Google RV Geeks Winterizing and go to t=40 seconds to see their solution when using a 150 PSI Viair compressor to blow out their RV water lines. (Sorry, Amazon won't let me post the link here).

Q: It states it has a 1 year warranty! Yet, no returns. How does the warranty work?

I don't know. It's the seller's policy. You are allowed to email the seller to get the details. Keep clicking on the seller's product section to find the contact link. BTW, this is a heavy duty pump. I had a tire with about 30# and within seconds, it got up to 36#. I recommend the VIAIR 300P.

Q: I need to 'top off' my rv tires up to 125 psi. from anyone with experience... will this compressor work? if you don't know, please don't answer.
