I originally bought this for mid Autumn festival last year but family illness took precedence. So I decided to try it out for Easter goodies this year. I am not disappointed. The pictures are my first trial run. I used melted white chocolate and filled with strawberry truffle cake with lemon curd. This was a trial so I could see what I was working with. I tried four bunnies out of the mold and two came out perfect. Two of the bunnies didn’t, but that was my fault and I’ll know what to do next time. One had a brain bleed, so I fixed it by giving her a “I want to speak to your manager” hair cut and me and my daughter can’t stop laughing! I learned what to do and what not to with mold, and it is now my favorite mold I own! So worth it! There are so many possibilities with mold!

I make dog treats to put in a konglike ball called a Woof ball. These are about the right size. Hold 50 grams of ground turkey or hamburger to freeze.

This silicone mold is such a fun and creative tool to have in the kitchen! The orange-shaped design is impressively detailed — each cavity has texture that mimics the natural peel of an orange, which makes the final result look super realistic. I used it to recreate the granny smith apple mousse cake by Cedric Grolet. It was good, but it was tough to remove the dessert from the mold.

They are exactly what I expected perfect for chocolatiering

This mold may work for frozen items but it does not work for any eclair or soft cakes. The top of the mold contains a rim so you are unable to remove anything soft without destroying it. Whoever designed this mold was a true “genius”.
