outdoor wireless PTZ camera system

I have used a few different products of HiseeU and all have been working well for last 24 months. It all has high level of compatibility and connectivity. Always link up to NVR without any issues. We moved house 6 months ago and to migrate to a new place and new internet provider has been very easy. No need for any external company to the high installation cost. Simply the best plug-and-play device. Solar life is good which means no need for hanging wires and drilling holes. Motion sensor technology preserves lot of battery time even in bad local weather.

These cctv cameras work really well and are well worth the money I paid. 360 degrees wide span and 500 yards length stretch. Good quality recording.

I already had 4 other cameras from another supplier that I have connected to a laptop running as a dvr. I wanted to try this make with a view to buying the full system as the cameras I have are starting to fail. Setting the camera up is easy enough using the app on your phone, connecting it to your WiFi. If that's what you want to do then that's great. Having spent many days taking to 'Jason' at Hiseeu it did expose some limitations. The software on their Web site for PC has a few bugs in so you get directed by Jason to download a different package from elsewhere. It's not the most intuitive software but I eventually got it to work to some degree. These cameras seem geared towards the phone or the complete solution with dvr linked to a monitor. I have got it connected to my dvr using onvif, which highlighted another limitation. You cant change the ip address of the camera. So if you rely on dhcp with a short lease the ip of the camera could change after power loss causing anything that relys on a static ip to fail. How it picks up an ip address if you don't have dhcp enabled I don't know. The other issue is that you can't connect to the camera by Web browser to change configuration. The phone app has some settings you can change but you will always have the on screen display of the camera enabled - date time and IPCAM in the top left. All the other cameras I've had allow a Web interface for configuration. Not sure why this one doesn't - I was told this quite clearly by Jason. I know this could easily be fixed with a firmware update but at this time the camera isnt fully there in my view. The 3mp image is very good, the phone app seems to work well over 4g. So a good camera, would be great as part of their complete systems but not very configurable. Despite being told you can't change the ip address I did find a piece of software on their site that does allow you to change it - but it is a bit of trial and error though till it works. I know by only giving 4 stars I am forgoing my 'present' from the supplier, but i think it needs that final tweak to make it a 5 star product - besides it's only a 32gb memory card your sent for a 5 star review.

Bought this to go with the Hiseeu 4 camera 5mp cctv system as needed a static camera on 2nd driveway so in total running 6 camera system now. Great quality,picks everything up that's need with good zoom option. Decent price for a 5mp camera and looks professional once fitted. Easy plug and play with the Hiseeu database.Worth every penny and would recommend.

Purchased to replace another HiSeeu camera that was 3 years old as for some reason stopped recording. Better picture quality and better night vision. EDIT....Stopped working after 15months,no wifi signal and other camera is further away from router and still works. The reason for only now getting 3 stars rather than 5 originally,now having to purchase another one....not happy!

It was supposed to work with my Hiseeu system but it needs it own power supply on top of the ethernet cable for video and sound. The whole reason I ordered it with my system was to only run the ethernet around my property. It took me 32 days to get my system up and running, so the return period is over and I still have an extension cord running 20m to this camera.

This camera is compact and the quality is excellent mounted by my front gate to view deliveries and friends arriving. Two way audio is great. Simple to use take it out of the box mount with supplied screws and add to app all done you don't need to be a computer expert to fit this in your home. I have a Hiseeu system already with four camera's ths now fts perfectly wit this.

I recently purchased 4 way cctv with 12.5 inch moniter 3 tb hardrive. Which is being reviewed by my girlfriend. So I bought another camera not realising you get a free camera after reviewing a five star rating cctv setup. which I'm chuffed about. The more cameras the better .As I currently work in the security industry iv learnt not to trust any one at all.so I'm very happy with this camera and will decently will using you again.
