Doesn't work with mini DV tape, which is what I bought it for. I can plug in my camera, press play on the camera, record on the software and it shows the tape being played but it's not capturing anything.I suspect it's ONLY for capturing VHS - which I don't need.

Worked well at first then it needed to be rebooted yo the system, not as simple as I first thought. Reproduction is good just the app was hard going

The original VHS video was in colour and good quality for it's age, however when attached to the PC it only showed it in black and white with horizontal lines going across it. I've sent it back.

Simple to use, clear instructions. You need a CD drive on your computer to install the software though so be careful to make sure you have access to one. Worked perfectly would buy again :)

I’m capturing my old movies from vhs through an old vhs player, and mini dv tapes through the old camcorder. So thankful I kept it all, I can hook them up to my pc and save! If you have old home movies this is a must! And it’s easy. I’m training my teens to do it too to help me out. Awesome tool/program.
