12 inch 40lb Gas Struts

Great product, works perfectly. The hardest part of the installation was removing the old struts! Once I figured that out the new ones were simple to snap on and have been working perfectly since then.

Worked great for 94 silverado camper shell. Less than 10 minutes to install. Wish I did it sooner

My skepticism kicks in because these struts are so much more dainty than my OEM Stabilus units. The cylinders and rods on these 17" (35#) units are noticeably smaller in diameter, which does not inspire confidence. That said, they install easily and are suitably powerful for my camper shell hatch that originally had 35# units. The test will be longevity, but at the price it's difficult to have high expectations. These put a stop to my OEM units randomly dropping the hatch on my head, or crashing down on a breezy day, and that's a good thing. My hope is that they last a reasonably long time.

Perfect replacement for my gas shock arms for the rear hatch of the boat where the batteries are stored. Lift capacity I believe is 20lb, easy to open and close, operation is smooth. a recommended buy if you need to replace your gas shocks

I ordered the wrong size and ended up returning and reordering. But I had them and they seam of good quality. They came fast and I have no negative comments
