High quality but lacking power
For what it is this amp is outstanding, though I didn't realize it at first.So I pulled it out and replaced it with an Audison 4 channel amp that's 5x the price. The Audison was louder but it didn't sound as good. Matter of fact, the Audison made a loud whirring noise anytime the vehicle was powered up.So I put the Nakamichi amp back in while shop for a more powerful amp. And to my surprise, the sound quality is so much better on this amp. But it NEEDS a preamp equalizer to actually perform at it's potential.Again you NEED a preamp EQ. I'm running the Clarion 7 band equalizer for nowThe sound quality is so good. Just not enough power for my setup.Worth every penny

Pinch me..
I have 6 channel amp in this series....also a mono amp the big one big dummy tested in a budget install with a sound processor (data)I can detect no noise floor on these amps and they sound amazing π€© not by any means the nakamichi of the old days....for what I paid ZERO complaints π―π and I will compare it to the Dayton audio JL installation in my f250 can't tell the difference........god bless
