GREAT insole for combat boots and work boots
.We have several New Balance insoles IPR3030 and IPR3020 in our family that we especially inserted in combat boots and work boots that are otherwise quality boots but may not have that extra more tailored made foot support.Insertion in shoe: Unless the user has manipulation issues which would require assistance by someone else, the IPRs installation is relatively simple. 1. Remove existing insole; 2. Insert IPRs toe first (as far in so as to jam up against the inner footwear toe area), then lower the IPRs heel, then; 3. Pull back on the heel for proper fit.Wear ability: Note that if the original combat boot did NOT have enhanced foot support, after you install the IPRs you may need to re-lace your boots because the IPR will raise your foot slightly. This particularly pertains to side zip boots where you have previously laced the boots "just right."Ordering: Ordering the correct size from the start will eliminate (or greatly reduce) the need to trim anything off the IPR insole.Vendor: The product vendor response to questions or concerns is GREAT.The only downside with the IPR insole is common with most quality orthopedic insoles: orthopedic insoles are NOT that affordable for those who are on limited income like pensioners. But that is when those of us who can help them need to do so as Good Stewards.Blessings,...Chappy (aka GhillieMan)

These really work
These are a life-changer for me.I was not expecting that! I bought them on a recommendation from my kid, now a resident orthopedist, to help with hip-arthritis-generated pains in my legs. When I put them in my shoes and then on my feet, the change was instantaneous: my knee's ache nearly disappeared, my ankle stopped burning, and all the fragmented pains generally just disappeared.Pronating ankles are not directly addressed by these insoles, as their rather thick arch section is flexible, but I find that the shape of the heel cup combined with the arch-padding's being contained by the side of the shoe seem to do the trick.Three days later, I wear these insoles all the time - and I'm a person who loves (loved) going barefoot.

Having tried numerous others, these seem to be the best so far
I have only used these insoles for a few days, but want to give some feedback for others with similar problems. I have tried (and paid for!) countless insole remedies for my feet, including Goodfeet insoles, both for athletic shoes and women's everyday flats, for sesamoiditis, plantar faciitis, and Morton's neuroma; all with limited relief. Having recently developed plantar faciitis, I went in search of an insole to help support the arch in the offending foot. Nothing in my existing inventory was helping that much, either being too little or too much. These insoles seem to relieve the Morton's neuroma, on one foot, while cushioning the arch on the other. I still need additional arch cushion, which I provide with memory foam cut to fit, but the forefoot cushion and design of these insoles seems to be the best I have tried thusfar.

6 Years and counting
I only put that there is no arch support because these are not made for arch support. They are strictly for cushioning. After a week of wear they mold to your feet and become custom pillows for your feet! I have worn these for 6 years now - I buy a new pair once a year and throw out the old. I have a neutral arch with no problems of over pronation. I work on my feet 12 hours a day and can wear athletic shoes to work. I slip these bad boys in and I'm on a cloud all day. They are made of a high density foam that does not wear down when it heats up. Also, if your feet hurt consider going up a size in your shoes! Most people are wearing the wrong size shoe! Guess what, you get older, and your feet change and also get bigger (or smaller) If you have foot problems consider that these are for people with a neutral foot and a normal to high arch. If your shoe has corrective technology in it already then this is OK to add to your shoe as well for extra cushioning.

My husband suffers from chronic arthritis in his feet and the doctors recommended these particular insoles
I was impressed with the quality and fit of the New Balance Insoles IPR3020 Pressure Relief insoles. My husband suffers from chronic arthritis in his feet and the doctors recommended these particular insoles. We went to a local specialty shoe store and ordered the first pair. He wears a 15 shoe, but the shoe store only had size 14 insoles and they charged $65.00. So I did what I do best - shopped Amazon.I found the exact insole and they even offered his exact size. They came quickly, as I am a Prime Member, and we were set to go. The best part, is that it was half the price one Amazon, so I can afford to buy another pair.I recommend everyone to double check with Amazon first, before you go to your local shoe store.

High quality insoles but......
These insoles do add more cushioning, and I am glad to have them. They are working for my flat foot that has Tarsal Tunnel syndrome. But-- I found it took my foot a week or two to fully adjust to them- and for them to "conform" to my foot. I also wish they had come in both half and whole sizes so I did not have to trim them to fit my size 10 shoes. Plus -they are a little thicker than the original insoles that came with my walking shoes, so that left a little less room in the top of the shoe. But that problem seems to be lessoning now that they have flattened just a little, as they conform to my foot. Even with that flattening, they do supply better cushioning then the original insoles. Finally-they do have ever so slight an arch on the side of the insole, and I wonder if I would have been just as happy to have the flat, plain, perforated, white insoles from Dr. Shoals. You might want to try the Dr. Shoals plain insoles first, because once you trim these to fit your shoes, you will not be able to return them.

Wonderful for my feet
I have suffered from arthritis for over 30 years. These insoles are the first thing I have found that completely relieved the pain I suffer from being on my feet very long. I am such a happy customer!
