Pros: Perfect Fit for Smaller Spaces: If you’re working with limited space, these seats might be just the solution. Their compact design made them a seamless fit for our boat, ensuring we didn't compromise on functionality. Functional Design: The fold-down mechanism is intuitive and smooth, making storage and space management on the boat easier. It’s evident these were designed with practicality in mind. Comfort with Posture Correction: While they might not be the plushiest seats on the market, they provide decent comfort. What's more, they naturally encourage an upright posture, ensuring long hours on the water don’t leave you with a sore back. Swivel and Pedestal Integration: Adding these seats to a swivel and pedestal was a game changer. The ability to effortlessly turn and engage with fellow passengers adds a social dynamic to boating trips – perfect for those picnic lunches or casual conversations on the water. Cons: Questionable Upholstery Durability: Although the seats are aesthetically pleasing, the upholstery does give off a vibe of being on the cheaper side. Prolonged exposure to harsh sun might lead to quicker wear and tear than premium options, although our boat cover might mitigate this concern to some extent. Overly Upright Positioning: While the straight-up seating can be seen as a positive for posture, it might not suit everyone, especially those looking for a more relaxed, lounge-style seat. Yes, especially for smaller boats or for those who need a practical seating solution that won't break the bank. Just be sure to manage expectations in terms of long-term durability and ultra-comfort.

The old seats in my bass boat needed replaced and they wanted almost 2k to build new ones. Something about being 33 years old and totally rotten- I digress. I found these seats and purchased them knowing I was probably going to be modifying them. I was very happy to find they actually fit very well! The driver and passenger seats were mounted from the backrest meaning the seat bottom now lifts up for access. The angle turned out to be exactly right so that was nice. Other than working out mounting hole locations I added rubber feet to the underside of the bottoms. For the front seats I threw away the hinge sides completely. New carpet and these seats and my boat looks brand new again! These are comfortable and styled right. Now the good and bad of these seats: 1. They are not custom so they may need some building skills if you choose to go with mounting any thing other than a 4 hole swivel pedestal mount they are designed for. 2. Made in China and the size, I think could be an inch or 1 1/2 inches wider. I am 6' 200# and they work good but just a bit wider would be helpful. My wife thinks they are perfect. 3. They are not built like tanks. The metal hinge seems a little thin and the hardware is NOT stainless but is zink plated steel. I changed all hardware to stainlesss. These are for boats and not providing stainless hardware lost them a star to 4 stars. If you are expecting super heavy duty then you need to spend a lot more money. The foam seemed a little hard when I was installing them but out on the lake they feel just right. For the price I would buy them again. I get compliments and they work well. I also purchased the same companies clam shell fishing seats. They are gray and blue. The blue matches perfectly and the work great.

Seat works good and bolted right up. I just needed for room on my pontoon and this was the perfect size and price point. It's a little stiff but to be expected being brand new.

My neighbor and I like to sit on our dock. We used to have plastic lawn chairs, but those quickly got brittle and would blow around in the wind without being held in place by a metal cable. These are fantastic. They’re very comfortable, and can be easily folded and snapped shut or removed for bad weather by pulling the pin in the post. They also free up a lot of space compared to what we had before. They’re also much better than a wooden built in option. They obviously are made for outdoor use for boats and can stand the elements. The stitching and quality is nice. With the posts and swivels they can easily accommodate an adult over 200 lbs. The seats do come with hardware to affix them to a post. We bought the posts and swivels that were recommended as items often “purchased together.” You will need to buy additional hardware to affix the swivel to the post and the post to your boat or whatever you plan to mount them to.

If you don’t want a sore aching ass and back buy these seats! They seem durable and foamy not to soft and not to hard.

Life savior! So much more comfortable now. I’m tall and it fits my long back well, and is stable on my Jon boat. Clean look, great comfort, cheap price, I’m all in.

These seats are excellent quality, look great and can’t beat them for the price. Will see how they hold up over time.
