Matching its opportunity is a complexity that demands experience, applied study and persistence.The writing and presentation were acceptable as were several of the ideas. The weighting given to different topics was out of balance. There were whole chapters to regulation and one page on how to market the business. While regulation deserves whole chapters to be sure, getting your contact list and job volume off the ground deserves much more than the scant attention it receives. This is not a book on creating a startup, it is a book about being in regulatory compliance as a freight forward and is not a complete tutorial for a new entrant by any means.Cautiously recommend.

Nice book to read to educate you about freight forwarding.The author sheared his experience in establishing a new FF co.Some good hints in there as well.

I purchased this book because I want to figure out the freight forwarding business; my husband owns a company and I want to help it grow. This book did not help me understand anything I didn’t already know - it gives general information about starting a business and lots of acronyms (explained at end of book), but most of the information would be useful for starting any business. I wanted something a little more in depth, not what I got.

I was expecting a little more but this is what you get ........looking for something deeper. Something that really gets into the nooks and cranny of the business. Proper form processing and the like. Overall, decent reading material. Quick read.
