Great little kit with all you need to secure your license plates. This is a perfect fit for our 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD ORP and 2021 Toyota Highlander LE AWD. Installation was easy and took mere moments, and the hardware appears very durable. Note: The 4Runner uses two bolts in the rear and two screws in the front, while the Highlander uses two bolts in the rear and two bolts in the front. This required us to purchase two separate kits, but it’s good to have the extra allen wrench and screwdriver bit. While nothing is 100% theft proof, this is an excellent deterrent for those who try to remove your plates. Value for money? Absolutely beats having to replace stolen license plates and tags. Highly recommended.

Great kit. Works well and looks nice

So I've never used the white spacer pieces before, didn't really know what they were for. On the initial attempt, I tried screwing in the plate directly to the bracket, but the screws were too long for that endeavor and were pressing into the trunk door body. No good. Next I got the bright idea to put the spacers on the front side of the plate, which worked just fine to get the newly purchased Benz back home from Pasco. After I arrived home, I got the bright idea to put the spacers on the backside. between the plate and the bracket. Using the included cushions and the chrome caps, it looks great. No vibration, whatsoever.

Installed only in upper holes on tag - lower not necessary as tag lays flat and 2 upper screws are tight and secure (if someone wants to steal tag, two more screws (on lower) aren't going to deter them) Multiple different screws, washers, lock washers and protective felt pads will work on different mounting requirements -- used excess for second vehicle; That makes the slightly high price (comparison wise) worth the money; Nice touch to have chrome caps to cover screws--they go on tight, just make sure the rubber washers are on the screws properly are they won't! Only negative: instructions are formatted in a confusion manner and of course the wording is poor (Chinese always are). Read it twice before you start.

After having my front license plate stolen, I was looking for mounting screws that helped to prevent thieves from stealing my license plates in the future. I found these thief resistant screws on Amazon and decided to take a chance purchasing them. These screws were very easy to install. The most important thing to remember is to not lose the tool provided to mount the screws. I left mine in the glove box. Anything that may delay a thief from stealing my license plates is a big plus so that they will move on. This is a great idea and I hope they provide an additional layer of security.

Bolts are very long. Had to add spacers to get the bolts to install correctly
